I have been watching you guys for a long while.Your videos make me smile. Freya is absolutely beautiful. I myself was born with Spinal Bifida.As a child I had all the programs needed to help me and my mom.But as soon as I turned 18 yrs and got on disability all programs stopped..I am 57 and old and well I had to fight to get a new wheelchair that I needed and had for 15yrs.Now I am supposed to have a new wheelchair every 5 yrs.Also I have ostomies I get not enough to carry me a month and I end up buying extra to get me through out of pocket. I have 95 surgeries in my life time of 57 yrs.It sux cause as disabled people get older no programs to help esp having Spinal Bifida.

I've always had hearing loss and tubes done 3x and they just kept falling out so it honestly just isn't worth it. do you know her level of hearing or is she just too small to tell? and how's she doing learning the ACC? glad Jessie's better and good luck on the washer!

It has snowed 2 more times! Now it will just snow off and on until May. They did say they would try while she napped. The problem is Freya doesn’t nap everyday. And also the children’s hospital is 4 hours away. So we could drive up there and not have it work. If it were closer I would try it.

@Oh that’s a bummer, too bad they can’t do it closer. I don’t blame you. She looks like she hears well. And I’m sure the tubes have also helped. Has she been playing with her hair any? I had long hair for ages and now I have it to my chin. So much lighter on my neck and less headaches. Have a great weekend and stay warm. It’s still in the low to upper 70s but possibly 60s in a couple of weeks.

Ruth here, it woukld be nice to know if she has hearing loss, l have woren hearing aids since l was 10, so for 55 years, l still like going with out em when l cook, go to the barn as it is so noisy, i wear em when l want to hear what people are saying. They have a very tin sound, even the tv l turn on the cc, l turn the sound off, just make sure you face her when you talk to her, are on the same level,

That’s awful about the hearing test. You should have had all of the information before they went ahead. That surely is negligence? I don’t understand how they couldn’t have given a diagnosis on the test they did knowing how dangerous it is to put Freya under. People sure do like to pick at hairs don't they. If they put Freya out for testing and ear tubes, I think that should be enough information for them. Plus, they should know that putting a little kid under especially with Freya's problems is not a good thing. It's like pulling hen's teeth sometimes. I'm glad Jessie is better, there's pretty much pain with kidney infections. I remember my mom got bladder infections a lot for awhile, and they kept coming back, till one Dr. said I'm going to give you an antibotic for three weeks instead of one. And that was the end of it. He said one week was definitely not enough time to totally get rid of it. I hope they can get to your place really fast to fix your washer. As I say sometimes I don't think It's any fun to do laundry like the Indians did it. Go to the creek and slap your wash on a rock. 🤣 Anyway, nite, nite Freya, sleep well. 🥰

Yes she definitely could walk one day. But not today. It will probably be years and even then it would be hard with her small size to walk long distances. So the wheelchair gives her independence movement now and also in the future

I find it odd that you can see just by the way she acts and by the first test that she cannot hear well, but the school is like it does not count, so we will not help her in anyway. Wish is so odd to me; it's like they do not take in to a count that is not safe for her. She cannot get the test done two times, and on top of that, she cannot do it the traditional way, so why not just modify it so she can get the help she needs?
