Thanks for the install video, very interestring. We are looking into one of these for our Prado 150 with an ARB Base Rack How has it stood up over time, waterproofing, fading, bag cover etc. Hope your rear door did not get a beating or damage over time.

Great work Jack, and much of it one handed! Just check insurance and licence requirements if you intend to change the seating capacity of the vehicle. You may need to notify both.

We’ve looking into getting an LK1 seat reduction but still looking into it as this won’t be a permanent fixture, and seats will be going back in at a later date. A lot to read up on

Jack, pretty sure those bolts that hold the awning on are mean't to slide in from the end of the awning. ( the bolt head fits into the track and cannot swivel ) They could come out they way you fitted them. Just check mate!

Good vid Need longer brackets, lot of strain on brackets with only 6 bolts when it's a bit windy Or get the drifta awning brackets that bolt to side of RTT

Get a small bit of pool noodle, split it and just clip it over the truss when you open it up to stop it banging on your door You may even be able to leave it on. I think you need more bolts to spread the load

Slide the brackets so they line up with the cross braces and see if a square u- bolt will fit and line up with the 3rd and 4th holes.???

Your brackets are up side down, turn them the the other way and you will gain more height! Happy days mate.

Check out the brackets from Kaon, they use 2 rails rather than 1 🤙🏼

I believe Rhino make a long awning bracket for the 270 awnings to attach to the pioneer rack. I will check it out on Monday.

I purchased kaon adjustabke 270 brackets. They span two purlons of the rack.

Get the rhino maxtrax heavy duty brackets and add them to the awning brackets ill get a pic of mine to show you that won't last that way

Didn’t think hunting for tinny’s would be this hard 🤣 We’re looking for a used quintrex f350 or Stacer 349 territory striker as they both allow a 15hp, high sided for crocs and are light enough to potentially roof top in the future! Seems like every time one comes up for sale it’s snapped up straight away! 😂

@@JS_Adventure the F350 would suit your needs perfectly. Very stable boats. I owned the F390 and it was an awesome tinny. F350 outback is the way to go.

I’ve just got to find one! 😂 Dont really want to buy a boat that I’ll have to get rid of in the future because I can’t roof top it and have heard great things about the explorer outback’s! We did see one fully setup for $3000 with a 15hp 4 stroke and it was sold within the hour! 😂 We’ll find one!
