Quickie How-to Gladiator Sandals

Well for goodness sake.......I just bought a pair of these in Texas and wore them in Oklahoma and got crazy compliments!! I think I paid like $30 for them and they are soooo adorable but NOW I can make them myself with any old flip flop I have!! CRAZY and AWESOME! I think I'll be making these for my family! They Will LOVE them! Thanks! Sooo coooool!

This is a great idea. It's even better than cutting off the straps. Ribbon can be used or just buy fabric, love it.

I saw this last year, but I never got around to making a pair. After this year's spring cleaning of my wardrobe I dug out an old scarf and used it to transform a pair of the plainest flip flops imaginable into gorgeous gladiators. Thanks for the tutorial!

Fantaaaaaaaastic!! I made these using a pink scarf to go with my pink outfit. Very comfy and easy and every one was amazed when I said I made them myself lol. Thanks ladies for this tutorial. I'll be using different fabric for a switch up when needed. Keep up the good work!!👍🏾

these shoes are so cute and I would wear them every day if I could, but one thing I would change is right after you rap the cloth around the arms of the sandals to just rap it around the back of ankle instead of under your foot because that would get annoying after a long period of time.

wow this is a good idea for the summer! i have some nice flip flops but i just need a scarf. i asked my nana if we could drive to dollar tree tomorrow to get some. gonna wear these on friday at school. Cant wait!

The idea is that you can use multiple scarves with only one pair of sandals for cheap variety! I don't think "easier" is the word you were looking for here--maybe more comfortable, but I dunno, if positioned correctly, the fabric might make a nice arch support for you.

Personally using a shorter, thin scarf to just wrap the straps of the flip flop (because some of the plastic strap edges literally cut into my foot). I can wear the ones I got as a gift now! yay!

Oh that is so AWESOOOOOOME!!! I have like 3 pairs of flip flops I won't wear because it's those kinds that are uncomfortable, but those scarves probably make it more comfortable, and our summer is far from over! We've got another 2 days of 100+ coming up (Sunday and Monday). I TOTALLY want to try that... if I can find a scarf at the store cheap enough to buy just to cut in half.
