Shenmue series are like the only games,where you don't have to fail QT-es on purpose just to see the outcome,you will most likely fail them at first try......honestly if these games were to get an update,specially 3,they should patch the QT-es to be easier.

@@Shuyin781 I never played Dragons Lair. I could imagine how hard those qtes must be. To me the qtes in Shenmue 3 are tuff as nails! Or hell maybe my reflexes aren't as fast as they used to be.🤔 Lol!

@@Gnmogo24 trust me, dragon's lair was the dark soul of QTE. Just to summarise its difficulty real quick: - the button you had to press was never properly indicated. All you had was an element of the scene flickering, which was supposed to give you an hint of the button to press (press left if the flickering is on the left of the character for example) - you had less than ONE second to react to the flickering, which was impossible unless you died to it before - you can't spam the incoming input before the flickering started, or it counted as a death to you. Long story short, it was an hellish try and die made in QTE.

The QTE fails were way more creative in Shenmue 1 and 2. It could affect the sequence and story in the past. Now it's just one fail scene and do it over again

It looks like its from between late PS3 era and early PS4 era but i dont mind it at all. This game is fun though. Has a nostalgia feel to it. Even though i never played the first 2.

Not really. There's also exploration, quests, minigames and fighting. That being said, Shenmue basically popularized QTEs and even coined the term QTE
