Asia, you can use pool noodles from Dollartree to cover the pipes that you added for support. The noodles will prevent your plastic from tearing. I used the noodles to cover my entire frame for added support.

Nice set up in your green house tent. My niece and 2 of my sisters have experienced their green houses being overturned and severely damaged by storms and high winds. I learned from their losses. Rather than using the string and thin metal stakes provided with the green house, I used 18 inch spiral ground anchors. Then I attached 2 ratchet straps that I run from one side to the other to keep my green house cover from becoming airborne. So far, mine has survived Ohio’s spring, summer, fall and winter 😮2022. Good luck with yours. By the way, one of my sisters live in SC and the neice in GA. I love your channel.

Thank you for this link. Never had a greenhouse. And my daughter was thinking about buying one. The one you show seem perfect for us and our backyard. Especially the way it can keep bugs off your vegetables and seedlings. My cabbages and leafy vegetables never had a chance because of that. I have a blueberry bush I was growing in a container I can relocate in the greenhouse. Also a dwarf Milberg tree. Thank you again.

Thats the one I want. My smaller one blew away. They sell water weights for camping designed to hook on to tent poles. I was going to get those. Let the double as a water réservoir with drip line case it’s too cold for me 🥶 Furring strips are good. I was also going to create a top tent ⛺️ with steep angle 📐 of a frame so the snow never accumulates. OMG so cool I am getting bare root heirloom fruit trees because bareroot cheaper to ship and plants are already 5 feet tall. Hopefully 🙏

I also zip tied my frame to stakes to make sure it wouldn’t flip over. The cover is really nice. I think it’ll do well in snow because it velcros to the frame so fits taut so won’t allow snow or rain to pool and sag. I had to attach separate clamps to prevent sagging, so I’ll definitely check out their covers when it’s time to replace mine. I love all the windows and mesh coverings. I think it’s worth replacing the covers every few years. It’s still costs a lot less than building a greenhouse. Especially that size. I love what you’ve done with yours. Please remember to cover/ cushion anything that could poke your plastic cover. The cover will tear from the places where the Velcro is inserted to go with the poles. These places are were tension is created from the plastic moving, as well as the zippers. Also. Go ahead and add the additional support strips you mentioned. Rain will also cause it to sag. This type of cover breaks down in the sun over time.

How do you keep the cold from entering inside from the bottom of the windows?
@YellowDoorUrbanHomestead Жыл бұрын
I don’t honestly. Most of my starts stay inside and I use the greenhouse during the warmer times.

I'm having a problem with the company, my greenhouse arrived damaged, and they will not send me a label to return. I cannot recommend this company. No customer service. my greenhouse arrived, box broken, parts dirty and scratched.

O no! I’m sorry to hear that. I hope they do or have made it right.
