This is a wonderful video. I breed high red pineapple green cheeks. I know that was made possible by dedicated aviculturists like yourself. Thank you.

just to reinforce no birds are 'quiet' but they don't get to the decibel volume of some others. I have a green cheek, she's still young and when she's at her loudest you can't hear her from the other side of the house. But I also am not reinforcing the loud noises, so she is learning to do her precious little chirps instead of her loud screeching :)

Nice video but I don’t agree with wing clipping in fact it could be dangerous
@dvilsadvocate14983 жыл бұрын
More dangerous than bird flying away? Or getting eaten or starving to death? Or even hit by a car while flying/ fly into a window or something. It's best and fastest to clip their wings and train them first prior to letting them free fly

i guess bird-keeping knowledge has advanced a bit since this movie was made. While I don't agree with the toy selection ( too many synthetics, not enough natural materials), the segment on nutrition is spot on.

Will a conure call to other birds if their them?

Can you describe their appearance and size ,in great detail? Only then can we help.
@ericsanchez36633 жыл бұрын
Please do not clip your conure's wings, :( It is cruel and unnecessary. If your current living arrangements do not accommodate a fully-flighted conure, maybe wait until you can allow your bird this freedom before getting one.

You're pronouncing Pyrrhura with the last R silent. Phonetically isn't it Pirura? And not Pirua? Or am I wrong?
