Ive been sleeping with a fan on since I was 12. Its always relaxing and helps lull me to sleep. I often wondered, however, if doing that is bad for your hearing. I have a childhood memory of me watching the moon with binoculars though the living room window. Underneath it, there was a night storage heater that had a deep, soft fan noise which hardly moved any air I think. I haven't heard since then. Randall, I love all of your fan videos, but most are high pitched and loud, as I use my TV for my monitor, so it's a bit louder and easier to sleep. This fan video, however, is very low, and the hum and sound is perfect. It's not too clunky, and is way more relaxing. I honestly love it. If you could, make more fan videos with this same low pitched hum that's not too loud? Thanks Randall, and as always, keep up the good work!

Great question... I filmed this one a few years back. It was a small 9 " around or 12" around all metal fan with metal blades. Very common fan. I don't remember the exact name though.
