I love ❤ TLC … I was saved in 1988 however I never once read through the entire bible. Just hand picked verses from here and there. I just ordered her TBR book.

Can't wait for the Bible Recap Kids!!!!! This is my second go at the Bible Recap. 1st time was life changing and I'm bringing 8 people along with me this time!

Awesome when Rachelle pointed out about what are you prioritizing?!? Prioritize God, not your sick family member, your financial situation, your children... if we prioritize God, He will work out the rest of enduring in our lives. Great!

I really appreciate your program, and this is my first episode, as was linked by the Bible Recap. I have only seen the first 20 minutes, but I have noticed that while you have brought Tara Leigh on to the program, she shares relatively little as compared to the both of you. I hope this changes as it goes on. Otherwise, what was the point of asking her to participate. I know there is a difference in an interview vs invitation to participate in the conversation, and maybe this changes as this continues.

This was my thoughts, too. I did watch the entire thing but still felt they forgot they had a guest there & spent a lot of time expressing their opinions. A couple of things they said, I'm not sure it jives with what she (and I) believe to be true. (I may be wrong) Loving TLC. My 2nd time through TBR, I learn something new most everyday. Thank you Lord for TLC. Thank you, TLC for listening to God's calling out your life. 😊

I had the same take away at one point. There was a long stretch where she monopolized the conversation. Overall TLC was able to share in the dialogue. Hope you finish the last part.

Just wanted to give the three of y'all a huge thank you! Every monday and tuesday morning, I am awake at 5 am. And on my drive to work for those days, I need something to listen to so that I can fully wake up. To be honest, music ain't my thing that early in the morning 😂. Needless to say, I love getting to listen to your podcast and spending time with God in the morning, plus y'all make me laugh. God bless y'all! Fun fact: I used to attend WoodsEdge Church, and whenever we I was a student, I was on the worship team. There was a day that Carter was there and played the drums, while I was one of the people who sang!

When I was a young adult, I imagined a picturesque scenario, sitting down to completely focus when my house was all clean and the children were napping. This prevented me from having devotions. I had to change the idea in my head.

Wow this is SO true and so good. I feel this way so often, that if the circumstances aren't perfect, then I can't achieve my goal. In this case, the goal of having time with God. Thank you for that great outlook! - Carder

I really trust TLC so I follow and learn I’ve learned so much from her and Candace whom sent me to her through Candace Cameron Bure She helped me find my way and I’m sure God had a lot to do with that.. all I can say is thank you from the bottom of my heart for leading me in the right direction

This is my third year reading through the Bible with the Bible Recap. I really appreciate and thank the Lord for Tara Leigh, her love for God and His Word and her insights. However, I am not totally on board with her when she speaks on Christians and sin. It is clear to me that from Romans through Revelation the Bible teaches that Christians are set free from sin and we are called to live holy lives where we are not sinning. This can only be accomplished through the Holy Spirit plus faith in God and what His Word has already proclaimed. See Ro. 6, Gal. 5:16-24, 1 Peter 1:14-16, 1 Peter 2:24. These are just a few of many verses that prove that we as Christians are called to walk free from sin! This is very good news! God hates sin and Jesus died to set us free from sin! The verses I posted prove that this is not just positional. Believers can and should be living lives free and above sin by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus paid for this on the Cross! When pastors or other Christians make statements like "We sin everyday in thought, word and deed," they are actually saying that Jesus' blood was not sufficient to give us victory over sin where we can actually STOP sinning and glorify God by walking free from sin. I know this is not what most Christians have been taught but if we would just read our Bibles (Romans- Revelation) we see that we are born again believers who have a different nature than the world, we do have the Holy Spirit and we do have the Word of God that we can believe which teaches victory over sin in Christ and by the Holy Spirit! God bless all who have open hearts to this glorious NT truth!
