Indeed gray fox is in the older games as well not much is told about his character except that he worked for fox hound as a soldier was who ends up being caught by big boss and before that big boss also recruited him after fighting him in metal gear portable ops the guy has been turned into a cyber borg or brainwashed to many times! Talk about tragic situations!

Otacon was born in 1980, so 3-4 years before the events of MGS 5. This makes him 25 during the events of Shadow Moses (2005).

Huh? Metal Gear the first game takes place in 1995, your saying he was 15 years old when he killed Venom Snake?, I don’t think so. Most likely he was born in 1975 and is 35 years old during MGS1.

Oh my god, long time MGS fan here, just found this and it's so cool that you're playing the first (solid) game, immediately subbed! Also, kinda unrelated but it had been a while for me and i forgot how moderate David Hayter's performance is here compared to the next games, no shade ofc, he's iconic in all four games, but i like this best, he feels a bit less "intense" idk if that's the word, just a tad bit, but noticeable.

Nice channel! If you pick up the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection, you can play Metal Gear (1987) and Metal Gear 2 Solid Snake (1990). They are arcade pacman style stealth games which are pretty solid also. Many people used to believe Metal Gear Solid (1998) was the first game when it was the third.

tip for sniping. Face the right direction before equipping the rifle. Do not try and and turn with it equipped, it takes too long.

I swear I could beat Mantis with no trick. Just punch him, after like 3 times one puch will eventually pass and hit him. Unfortunately, even if this method means taking forever to beat him, he still accuses you of cheating after his defeat.

Since few comments here mentioned how they love Quiet and the story - I never bought Quiet character. I didn't get the "complex" relation with Venom, I do not see this realistic at all. I am not "ashamed" of thinking her way of dressing is silly. I like the gameplay mechanics with her as a sniper but I'm not a fan of a story.
