Well when you're doing good..science is just a faster victory 90% of the time. That's why I stopped playing CIV. It feels like even though i'm given choices, they become less and less towards mid to late game.

@@Plague_Doc22 it's explicitly not the case for Kupe tho. His yields and culture are fuckin absurd. He's not able to focus on the things that make Science victories better (IZ in particular) and he's predisposed to both heavy faith generation as well as natural parks. He's an S tier culture civ and Quill still was determined to shoehorn in a shitty, bland science victory.

Eleanor is my personal favorite character to play as. The ability to flip cities through culture is the best thing ever to be implemented!!!

It was in Civ 5, but then again the Civ ruler was Napoleon, who I remember being pretty beligerent and expansionist. It seems like the Civ 6 France is set up to be a bit more cultural and inward-looking, so arguably something a bit more "home team" than the foreign legion is more consistent.

City-States are pretty valuable to leave alive, so why feel bad? One of the things that makes me want to strangle the AI is when they eat all the good ones.

i hope he realises that he can build a nice zimbabue wonder because of the cattle and the rock being close to each other plus the clean space and the fact that it's rare any civ can even build this wonder so it's gonna be worth it. edit: oh no wait, there were horses there... sigh...

brussels is belgian not french, aix en provence is a french or aix la chapelle. bruxelles is not french for city, but cité or ville are.

Its reference to one of his early videos where he met Brussels a city-state and said that Brussels is in France ( kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKeuhn2lmdOKr5o ) now there is a constant joke about Brussels being in France and references to brussels sprouts. He is the reason that you can choose Brussels sprouts as a flag in surviving mars.
