Great quilt tops! Thanks for showing that simple designs can make wonderful quilts. I love using corduroy for backings.

Will you please shoe how you finished them? Those tops are so vibrant and will last a very long time!
@sunbeamfabricart Жыл бұрын
@@juliatepe5760 Thanks for asking! I have not finished them yet! I plan to either do straight stitch quilting on them, or yarn tie them.

OOOH! Nice denim! I love working with denim. I am keeping my eye out for some corduroy at the thrift stores too. Thanks for the video. Making the graphs is a great way to make multiple quilts. Great idea.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ❤So I woke up one day and said I'm going to make quilts for my 2 sons and it took me 2 weeks to cut out them squares (I don't have the fancy stuff 😊) but even though I thought my hand was gonna fall off and fingers never be the same again I thank you this really helped me with a lot

Coming from a background of clothing/costume sewing, you can't nest seams with heavy fabrics like courderoy or denim. You need to pres them open and math seams that way. Great idea on using up stash. In think charm squares cut from these fabrics would make a great shopping bag.
