The hand quilted fabric is an Indian fabric, made with a quilting and/or embroidery technique called Kantha.

Super cute Victoria. Thank you for the detailed explanations. I’m going to try something like this. May use 100% cotton quilting batting in place of thinsulate. Hobby Lobby has had that exact fabric in the past in that colorway and a white version with gold and blue. I can totally understand about bias drama. That’s a lot of bulk to cover. Well done!💗🌵❤️🇺🇸
