You have such fun and creative ideas I’m working on the first of two clam shell quilts from another of your videos. The process so far is so enjoyable I looked at a few other videos of a clam shell quilt and oh my goodness yours is so much better and much cuter. This video will be so helpful! I even plan to try the appliqué technique as well! Thank you for all your ideas!

Laura, after that you talk about Édith, I went to see her site cuz she has a french name, like me. She lives 45 minutes from my home. Her designs are famous. Now, I look to your explanation! Thanks a lot (she mention a french quilting group in Quebec! Houppppi!)

I was wondering how it would be if I quilt from the back. The front is patterened and it will be impossible to see where I'm going, but the back is plain and will be easy to see. Just like the quilting you have done. I guess this video has answered my question. It worked for a small piece so it should work on a bed quilt too. Thank you Laura for answering my question before I had asked it. It is a beautiful piece, love it.

What were the marking pen or pencils you used that washed out at the end? Your videos are so complete . Thank you.
@SewVeryEasy7 жыл бұрын
It was a Friction pen. However be carefully while using these as the marks sometimes will come back as ghost. I use them only for projects that will be wash and more for crafts.

What kind of pencils did you use for marking? The quilting is beautiful! Do you prefer using the BSR? I was thinking of learning to free motion without it, because it seemed jerky to me.

Hi, I downloaded the pattern, however it didn't include the the outline for the edge to cut the shape of the table topper. do you have any suggestions to duplicate the scallop design of it?

take a piece of paper the same size, and fold it a few times. Cut a gentle curve, now you have a template:)
