Judy, Thank you Thank you Thank you so very much for taking the time out to do a proper tutorial on your patterns. I have a few of your patterns but every time I get them out I become intimidated and fearful of making a mistake for not fully understanding the instructions. I have been hanging out for a while now for you to bring us a how to step by step guide. I am such a visual person and I have had such a light bulb moment since watching you. Please continue to do these tutorials. They are so very very helpful. Many thanks. PS. If you could find the time to bring out a how to DVD or website tutorial class with each of your patterns, I would be so willing to purchase. I'm sure many others would be willing to do so as well. Not every one can get to a certified quilt shop to take a class in order to learn your techniques. This would become such a huge benefit to have with your amazing quilt designs. Please consider.

Hello! I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed it and will use it! It takes a lot of time to put these out, and we probably won't ever be able to do every pattern. But, we do hope we can do one of these each year on KZbin. And, we also hope that we will see video content become more a part of the Quiltster platform moving forward. So, smaller tutorials by both Quiltworx, our Certified Shops, and Instructors, can be found there as well. And hopefully, by some of the other designers that are starting to use Quiltster for their designs, too!

Hi Tiger Lilly! I'm so glad you enjoyed the video! We won't be able to do this for our entire pattern inventory, but we will put out more in the future! It is a lot of work to publish these in this way and we wouldn't have time to do them all. We anticipate we will be doing around 1 each year.

Thank you so much for doing these videos. I have had a few of your patterns for many, many years now. Even as a ‘seasoned’ quilter I just couldn’t get going on mine. After seeing how you cut all your pieces out, I can’t tell you what a huge help that was. I look forward to viewing more of your videos. Debbie

Thank you for sharing your great technique of organizing your work. I would think by doing this your way, makes the sewing and piecing more enjoyable and relaxing.

And Dr. Elinski would be correct!! Following Judy's directions makes piecing her quilts similar to putting a jigsaw puzzle together - all the pieces fit and simple like ABC!

now i am ready to get in to this beautiful quilt. do you starch yr fabrics?
@Quiltworxcom4 жыл бұрын
It entirely depends on your desires and the fabrics! If you feel like you want them very crisp, then go ahead. For get Flimsy fabrics and sold, just has even interfaced them. For others, she just starches along the way, and as needed!

I just finished mine a couple months ago. Now I'm wanting to do another one! Very addictive!

I am not an English native speaker, small question: if I buy the Amethyst (74$) is that enought to make the quilt or do I need to buy as well the Amethyst replacement paper (55$).? tnx for answering.
@Quiltworxcom6 жыл бұрын
Becky Ezra, all you need is the Amethyst pattern. Replacement Papers are only needed if you’d like to make another Amethyst quilt when you already have the pattern.

We'll try and do it next time, but this isn't a live class. The benefit of that, is you can pause and go back and rewatch at any time!
