For all of you that stumble across this channel ignore this post. I have coached against him and his sister in AAU since he was around 9 years old. I know his former AAU coaches. He runs basically the same. He goes ALL-OUT every time he runs practice or meets. At 10yrs old he was AAU Indoor National Champ. in the 200 and 400 and 2nd in the 60. Outdoors he was USATF Jr. Olympic Champion in the 400 running under 60 sec. 11 yrs old AAU Indoor 400m National Champion. Outdoors AAU Jr. Olympic 400m Chamption. Didn't run 2020. 13 yr. old Indoor Nation 200m & 400m National Champion. Outdoors did not compete at Nationals but ran 50.8, 23.53, and 11.59 at 13. 14 yr. old. Won Adidas MS 400 Nationals Indoor 400, 2n in 200 and the 60. 14 yrs old won the International Youth Championship 200 & 400. In those races he ran 48.09 and 22.29 into a headwind. Notice the consistent winning national events for the past 7 years. His times have also followed a reasonable progress with his winning. He is and has always been that funny running little dude winning everything in sight. So Mr. 100K decides to get clicks and call a kid, a kid a cheat. I guess he was cheating at 7/8, 9 and 10 too. To call a child a cheat with NO SHREAD OF PROOF is unconscionable and despicable. No research, no facts, nothing but HATE and IGNORANCE from Mr. 100k. A simple internet search will show the kid has always run faster than those his age and many older than him. Too LAZY Mr. 100k? Yep. Just a despicable clickbater. I won't be back to this channel. Since I see how lazy and ignorant your material is. For anyone that has doubts about what I posted about Quincy's times and achievements, the information is a matter of public record. I would seriously doubt from now on anything Mr. 100k says.

@KennasView
@KennasView 9 күн бұрын
Comparing swimming to track is a false analogy. Competitive swimmers begin early and end early. Phelps was the exception in that he completed his stellar career at 31. It's unheard of for competitive track athletes to enjoy success at the age of 16 and 17 which is why Erryion Knighton and Quincy Wilson captured so much attention. It takes longer in track to get to the kind of level Knighton had in the Olympic trials of 2021.

@@Mr100kadayThis guy doesn't have any brute strength. He proved that in the 400m finals. Matthew Boling was ahead of him coming off that last turn and he kept grinding until he finally caught up with him and passed him up. There are a few natural substances that are in foods and plants that will scavenge the proton and prevent the lowering of pH in the muscle tissue which leads to a decrease in contraction. I’m not going to tell you what the substances are but it’s out there and probably can’t be detected.

Nah. He's maybe just one of the exceptions to the rule. Just the next prodigy. Needs to strike when the iron is hot. A majority of these prodigies in H.S. don't get much faster. Where is he going to go from 44.6? Will he still be getting the attention when he is low 44 in college? More likely others will catch up with him over the years than him continuing to distance himself from others. If I had to bet, more likely he is around same place at trials 4 years from now, maybe one or 2 higher, than he wins it. Plus, PED's and someone to assist you with using them correctly are not cheap. Where a 16 yo kid get the money for PEDS? It ain't paper route money.
