In this video I take on the popular pokemon rom hack Pokemon moon emerald using only shiny pokemon. This pokemon challenge is a shiny only run of a pokemon rom hack and is a true test of my hardcore pokemon abilities. Can we beat this pokemon rom hack using only shiny pokemon? Watch to find out!

Anyone else notice the shinies in a opposing team? By that I mean when fighting a gym there could be a shiny on the other team

Could be a part of the rom hack, or it could be due to him changing the shiny odds. That happened when I changed the odds in my SS ROM, a couple of the foes had shiny mons

Your opponent's pokemon also have a chance of being shiny. I've played a pokemon fire red and emerald with a increase shiny rate of 1/100 and pokemon fusion dimensions with shiny odds of 1/400 and sometimes the trainers have shinies.

You should do a nuzlocke on one of these romhacks! I recommend Pokemon FireRed and leaf green+ which is both FireRed and leaf green in one save and it features a built in nuzlocke mode

@@Zer0--Zer0 to be fair there have been 1/100 shiny odds in the pokemon series before, the dlc raids in pokemon sword and shield dlc. Ultimately the shiny run just boils down to using the first pokemon that shines on any route anyways so while it would be nice to hear how many resets each pokemon took on each odds, I dont think its too bad

Shinies are fairly uncommon jn this game, actually. There is even a version with a 1/100 shiny rate and 1/400 rate.

Never seen someone get shinies that quick. And 99% of the time the exact ones you want. No encounter count and covering up and not showing once the time played also verifies it for me that the odds are highly boosted. I feel that should be included and made known.

I wouldnt say hours. The shiny rate is either 1/100 and 1/400. There are 3 different versions you can download.
