Me too. It got so mad about it that I barely even bother to block anymore, and I completely changed my playstyle to an aggressive one. I only block powers, but for the most part I hit everybody like a piñata. I get more kills and score this way, and isnt that backwards? I literally do better with the braindead aggressive playstyle because lightsaber combat is broken. Its like, why sit there and block when the spammers will just be getting free hits anyways?

Yeah I agree. Lightsaber Combat is just a mess at the moment. Last night I was playing HVV, and despite the fact i was fully blocking, i somehow would still get force-choked by Darth Maul or frozen by Kylo Ren. Along with the damage through blocks bug, I also had to deal with a team that would just pounce all over me, which led to me just dying each time I ran into the team. Then of course I would be mind tricked by Rey, ragdolled all over the place by force pushes & grabs, and then I would be dead in three seconds. This really makes me wonder if DICE even bothers to test their updates before they officially launch it across the globe.

Did everyone forget the Vader damage buff that was supposed to apply in the may update and never happened? It would have been helpful to oneshot kill troopers with focused rage as it is just 5 damage shorter than 150 (except for heavy class). Instead of nerfing his choke, they should fix every force ability to "miss" when someone dodges but doesn't get out of range, or is it supposed to happen?

I went into arcade and tested obiwan's newest star card when combined with his second unlocked one (Dont know it's name). He blocked 71 lightsaber hits before running out of block and can outdo even Vader's defence (without focus rage) with just swing spamming with 17 attacks. Play him before he nerfed. You only need to block 40 lightsaber strikes or abilities (or 100 blaster shots) to get the full bonus of the card. He can also block 132 blaster bolts in a single stamina bar compared to the normal 23 without star cards.

I feel like Anakin, Vader, and Kylo Ren need lightsaber attack speed buffs. They used to be some of the fastest (especially Anakin) and are kind of supposed to be in canon, but they aren't very special anymore since everyone else's swing speeds have been getting buffed as of late.

I created a list of bug i wrote them down as i was playing and i fill a page of bugs in just my first game The thing that i notice is that 3/4 bugs in the list are stun lock related and i am 98% sure that stun lock is due to animation and frostbite having a mental breackdown Which makes almost every single bug I wrote down related to animation

Anakin had 4 rag doll abilities before Passionate Strike was fixed. So it was Pull Dominance, Heroic Might, Passionate Strike and Retribution. Obi-Wan has All-Out Push Luke has Push and Repulse Yoda has Unleash Han has the Dentonite Charge Chewie has Ground Slam Dooku has Lightning Stun Grievous has Thrust Surge and Claw Rush Kylo has Pull

And with Phasma it is not an offensive stun, but defensive one that really is pointless with how easily she can be pushed away from the stun an shredded. You can easily time Lando an Chewie's stuns on top of each other at a safe distance compared to Palpatine an Verso.

PLEASE do a video organizing the fanbase to storm the EA BATTLEFRONT 2 forums and demand changes to Heroes VS Villains. This update is ABYSMAL, dash is broken, saber range is off- hit box of 10feet, health evaporates too quickly, block is useless, defense is nonexistent. It’s all hack-and-slash newb-heaven bull crap just like every other game out there now. Was near perfect balance and dueling and actually took strategy before the update. Now you just take a bunch of people and just buttonmashsswing until you get through or their stamina is gone (which is quick)

On top of the choke issues I think vaders focused rage comes back a bit too fast. Now kylo ren does a ridiculous amount of damage if u use bloodlust, resilience, and the new star card. I am guessing he will be tweaked at some point.

Luke does more with every hit now, if anything they need to put it back to every hit breaking blocks for frenzy like it use to.

@@raps3617 not true, as most heroes work as a group and Kylo has no counter to a 2 v 1 at the moment, it would balance it out. Obi Wan, and Anakin both can just dominate Kylo by either out DPSing him or just burning his out stamina him. Not to mention Anakin and Yoda both have block breakers. Sure it would make Ren a seriously good stand alone Villian but as it stands he can't go 1 v 1 evenly, Luke is faster with armor on rush, Rey has more dodges and a more effective stun, Obi Wan more stamina an a broken stun, Anakin hp/dmg/ block breaker, and Yoda has unblockable dashes smallest hit box and hp boost. Kylo is just always at a disadvantage unless with another villain.

@@raps3617 Oh and every knock back interrupts frenzy, I've been bounced out of it so many times I've rage quit till they fix the unbalanced issues, Kylo is so under powered it's mind boggling. If they Nerf Vader I don't see how the villance will stand a chance.

Tyler Robbins I don't find kylo underpowered at all. He is one of my mains and I usually do really well with him. Even more so after this new patch because of the new star card. Freeze and pull can counter 2v1s cause it can allow you to iso one of them or run away. and if frenzy hits both heros u will out dps them

The Vader choke could definitely use an adjustment Phasmas droid could probably also use a bit of tweaking as to just how often it's stuns go off. I really like the sound of the ragdoll immunity as well

When the game launched, Speeder Bikes were pretty decent to control and some updates later they fuckin broke. Even now though, I have no problem hitting targets with a speeder but they def need a fix lol. What I fuckin laughed at is on Endor, they put some invisible walls up to prevent speeders from going passed them but you can simply go around that damn things....

Actually I’ve experienced a problem with blocking blasters too! I was darth maul and Han was shooting me and I had full stamina and I know I was blocking because the animation and he took all 700 health away!

Luke's Intensify star card should be reduced from 50 to 20 so he isn't going around doing 200 damage per swing from the back but can still one shot Infantry except Heavy.

@@XplodingTurtle No Hero should be able to go passed the 200 mark as a passive ability and for how fast Luke swings he really didn't need it. When I was using Bossk who is in a pretty horrible state now that his Jump was nerfed and he was the only Hero who didn't get a new card, a Luke came and 3 shot me in 2 seconds and I basically had no chance of escape. Even if I wasn't Bossk, 200 damage is a bit too much for how FAST he swings.

Also, the droid generator weakness has a stupid design; the core is covered from the top so you have to get in close and attack from under. Whereas for the clones, their reactors are wide open and easy to destroy from afar.

In HvV when I use any pull/push/choke abilities they don’t affect Anakin. If someone is spamming the attack button with Anakin on my teammates I can’t do any abilities against him. And when I use Anakin my Passionate strike ability gets disabled if anyone hit me within like 1 and a half second. There’s also too many abilities that gets cancelled when I use them against anyone. If someone hits me it goes on cool down even if I didn’t get to use it. Does anyone have similar problems, or am I the only one ?

about the ragdolls, grevious can ragdoll you with his crawling thing and his quadruple penetration, also dooku can ragdoll you with his force lightning. so it's not just maul and kylo. plus I'm about 60% sure that you get ragdolled right after vaders choke.

Why does it matter if rolling to avoid abilities works anyway? It’s impossible to intentionally time it correctly. You have no idea when someone else is going to use an ability. It’s all up to luck. I only managed to do this for the first time yesterday against Obi Wan push. And it was a complete accident
