I deleted this game a little over a month ago as the bugs and exploits just sucked the fun out of it. Found myself rage quitting and being angry and didn't like the affect it had on me. Felt better after it was deleted. Still want the game to be fixed. Was hoping this update would give me reason to reinstall but I guess not. Maybe I'll just wait until hopefully one day Ahsoka is added.

I’ve literally had people hit me through my block in heroes v villains, when my stamina is full. I’ve had my stamina just depleted in two swings or two blocks, and my opponents seem to have unlimited stamina. I haven’t played heroes v villains in god knows how long

How can you screw up an almost perfect saber system in one update. There’s no reason that any of the saber heroes but Dooku should have even been touched in their swings and locking. And the annoying Ability Cancel. How many times am I gonna activate Heroic might and not do anything, or use retribution and not work. Why is it when I get hit once when blocking I lose all my stamina. I honestly was happy where the game was last update and was looking forward to the new content. But what’s the point of it if I can’t even play the game. This was supposed to be a nice update with new star cards, passive HOK, new droid skins. But all I see is a ruined game. Good bye.

J Bruce Stinger pistol is weak when 1 shot is sent-but the multiple Shots stack up way to much Damage over time, and if your not a hero like Yoda or Darth Vader you can’t heal yourself from it, *it’s essentially cowards tactic when someone can’t beat you* they choose to either: A. Buy a speeder and chase you relentlessly B. Use the Stinger pistol to put a halt to your killstreak C. Hop in a tank and Try to chase you only to realize how much faster you are than them-well unless your Chewbacca than theirs no hope for you Apart from a cave 🤷‍♂️

Blocking is pretty much non exsistant now. Its so broken it may as well not exsist. I still like the star card changes and the CS changes as I have managed to win as the clones and the droids. Still this update for me is good but the bugs and glitches hold it back.

"Saber combat is ruined" It wasn't even good to begin with. Also about the droids winning? The players aren't timid or fearful of the TX130. The AAT is pretty good. And the Republic players just aren't doing the objective. I've played as the Republic and my teammates just weren't doing the objective of attacking the the CPs. They were all defending and contesting one CO.

Honestly the fact people ever thought saber combat was good baffles me between block and attack spam to the block just flat out not working or not actually blocking despite the animation playing, alot of hero abilities flat out not working but still going on cooldown, the rubber banding that has ALWAYS been present, hit stun (my fucking god the hitstun), hit magmetism, the dodge being just flat out absurd at times like it gives invulnerability frames instead of just moving your hitbox rapidly so if you swing while someone is dodging and your lightsaber on your screen connects to their player model but due to them dodging nothing happens and you lose stamina, the stupid amount of abilities that stun or ragdoll you all over the place, the block apparently being able to block behind you at select moments (my personal fave was blocking a force freeze from a kylo i had no idea was there while i was pre occupied with vader while playing luke), the ridiculous lunges that either make you hit from distances you really shouldnt and just making combat feel clunky as fuck or because you lunge and if you attack to close to an enemy you lunge completely past them sometimes, the animations being wildly bad at telling you what you can and cant do so if you get ragdolled and your on the floor if you hold the block button while someone swings at you or use another ability on you alot of the time you block the hit despite being on the floor then your just magically on your feet again i have no idea if this is intentional or a glitch because it doesnt happen all the time but it happens to me and against me a fair amount in a hvv match. These are all the issues i can think of right this second and they have always been present but if you voice these you get downvoted to hell but if a youtuber says saber combat is shit now then everyone jumps on the bandwagon, saber combat has always been funadamentally broken in this game

@@Im_Blitz level 1000s are because of a bug when they increased the level cap, some people started at like 900 instead of 40 so they could get 1000 easily. One of my clanmates started with a 960 officer and he got to 1000 in a few days lol.

Hero dodges are broken, you can get hit with a lightsaber very easily when dashing now. It's incredibly frustrating, but dice already said they're working on a fix. And the force abilities don't always work, but that's old news. However they changed rey's dash strike so that it instantly drains a person's stamina on hit. I think it's a great change. Is the effect too strong? Maybe, but Rey needed a buff, she was so weak. You're losing your stamina from her, it's not a bug, it's intentional. If you keep losing fights against a Rey, stop hiding behind your block.

If you haven't noticed, the block and ragdoll immunity on unrelenting advance is broken, again. Also, Bossk's new jump seems lower and his jump was pretty necessary to avoid getting killed by heroes. With the current hit detection, he can get hit even at the apex of his jump.

God, I was in a Capital Supremacy match and Maul's choke throw wasn't even working for like 95% of the entire match It still cause damage, but it wasn't throwing them at all Dice really needs to focus more on the bug fixes. The new content coming out is cool and all, but I'd rather see fixes since so far despite coming back to this game, I'm taking another break until most of the bugs are fixed

The droid generator weakness has a stupid design; the core is covered from the top so you have to get in close and attack from under. Whereas for the clones, their reactors are wide open and easy to destroy from afar.

The new Luke card definitely works...I had an 11 killstreak in HvV so I definitely did the 5000 damage needed for the full max of the card and I killed a full health grievous in 4 swings from the back...that’s 200 plus damage a swing from the back which is what 50 extra damage would do so it definitely works it just doesn’t let you know...the dooku one is the most frustrating and that needs some kind of indication more than anything without it the card is pointless

The lightsaber attack range is ridiculous, if you play a blaster hero your screwed against lightsaber heroes, can’t avoid with the rolling or jumbing, they ruined bossk jumbing, you have to play geonisis twice in hvv, who the hell ask all of these??

8:32 the way that anakin killed you without touching you is the exact same way I keep getting hit/killed by enemy heroes. Before you could dash backwards and avoid getting hit, but after update you just just can’t dodge anything

Haven't played BF2 in 3 months and I was going to return to play with the new update, but when I load the game and turn HvV on, it's buggy af! A 1v1 now feels dead easy or impossible because of bugs Sometimes I won't get many bugs and the enemy will get alot so I just destroy them, and I hate it like that (I prefer a challenge) And sometimes, I'll get a ton of bugs and the enemy won't get many, so I get absolutely destroyed I was unstoppable as grievous before this ridiculous, buggy update came out Dice should undo this update, fix it then rerelease this update The rise of skywalker update BETTER not be like this Those people at dice need to stop rushing these updates, and they need more people working on bf2

In my experience so far, the 'new' capital supremacy kinda forces everyone towards the same area. I'm more focused on not getting hit and just tossing grenades towards and shooting in the general direction of the bottleneck where the enemies are coming from, than actually running around trying to kill enemies. And I die more often because of that. That's no fun to me

I played as Anakin and tried to use Passionate Strike, emphasis on *tried,* he began the animation and then cancelled it literally 3 times in a row. Also it's pretty ironic how it stated in the Patch Notes that they "fixed an issue where Lightsaber Heroes could hit the player when the player was behind them." (Or something like that), but after the "fix" it's happening 10x more often.

The Droid ship reactor is harder to blow up, despite being only one, because its just a narrow little space in between the big pylon things that actually receives damage. Where as on the clone ship, not only are there three pylons... but you can pretty much shoot them anywhere to cause damage.

Yeah HvV is beyond broken, most of the time all the heroes will be blacked out and I'll be given the choice to choose between 2 characters. Also I just played a game where my Anakin with full guard that pulled by a Kylo.

I am pretty much exactly where you are right now Swany. I love this game. I love the trooper combat and the fun times you can have in big modes like GA and Capital Supremacy. The prequel content has been awesome to see, the feedback from the devs has been good, content is on the uptick, and the community is generally positive. Plus with the arrival of the Commando, hype is at a really high level. BUT... The bugs and glitches that are in the game are the one thing that hold this game back from being truly excellent. Part of it, in my opinion, is just due to the fact that Frostbite was not designed with lightsaber combat in mind. The lightsaber combat is based on hitboxes, and the hitboxes are woefully broken. In essence, I would describe lightsaber combat as being based on prediction rather than reaction. You have to guess what your opponent will do, and then base your reaction on that prediction. Hitboxes will fail you every time if you don't approach the combat this way. It's never been more apparent than in this update. Luke has become nigh unstoppable in HvV. His swing speed, combined with the broken blocking (which honestly deactivates the instant too many things interact with it, like multiple heroes swinging at it simultaneously), makes him almost unbeatable 1 on 1, or even 2 on 1 or 3 on 1. He is lightning quick. Lightsaber combat has been destroyed by this update. HvV is virtually unplayable right now. My recommendation is to stay in the trooper modes, and stick to the base troops and reinforcements. Those all work well. My grade isn't much better than yours. 4/10, 5/10 at best.

I wish the capitol ship phase was just built into the ground phase (so it could all be one open experience) where airial dog fighting could take place, and maybe the middle cp would have an ion cannon to help damage the enemy's capital ship. Boarding should be optional for those players who want to damage the capital ship from the inside could do that and those who want to remain on the ground could do that as well

I was playing HvV today an it was unbearable. Not only was the stamina broken, the hit boxes were trash, and it would only let me pick from two hero’s even though the others weren’t picked. I ended up playing the campaign again because everything else was broken or crashing.

I completely agree that there should be an indicator for the star cards to tell you if it is working but with the chewy one, you can know how much damage your doing. You have to look at the points you get for Player Damaged, that number times 10 is how much damage you just dealt.

What happened with selecting a character in HvV? Every match I go in I want to play chewbacca or Leia, but for some reason they are not available and the only available ones are obi, anakin, Rey, and Yoda. Anyone else have this issue after the update.
