Deleted old comment, edited with new, now that I actually have the module. I'm watching this video over and over again, and working the module alongside. Now that I am actually using it, things are starting to become a lot simpler, so that's nice. The attack/repeat trick on the snare is great, I gotta mess around with that. My module came with different kit presets (No "Faders") which are mostly too aggressive for my taste, so I checked the website and found there were some different downloads available, one of which included the Faders preset, so I'll be swapping them out and seeing how the older ones sound compared to what I have. Best of all though is just starting from an InitKit, and making it how I like it. You'll be getting a lot more repeat views from me while I get down to the nitty gritty of this. Thanks for such a ridiculously detailed demo. I'll be sure to check out what you did with the 02 external unit as well.

My issue I found is I keep accidentally saving kits over others when I clearly had N selected as not to save yet it still says save successful.

The sequencer is ace though. Nothing touches it in Eurorack

@@johnhowell-sayers8152 I didn’t like the sequencer in the Bass Line desktop unit from them, and I figured it was about the same thing with the LXR. What’s great about Eurorack is being able to combine multiple sequencers for different styles. For example, I use the Vermona RandomRythm, ES Drum Sequencer, ES Black Sequencer, Hikari Eucrhythm, and logic gates all at once! Really fun to plan out certain parts of it and live play via feel the other aspects

This thing simply won't save Kit's sometimes. I work 2 Hours on new sounds and safe them and after reboot it's all gone -.-

The most interesting feature is really morph imo.. very fun to play around with on the old LXR, unique feature where a lot of happy accidents can happen. Is there CV over it? reading the manual does make me believe there isn',t and you didn't demonstrate it either :( manual says it's for live jamming, which of course can be fun, but we are in the modular domain now and we want CV over that fun stuff...

Feature request: a way to mute tracks while on performance mode by pressing shift + drum Voice.

Divkid mutes module is a great option here. 4 channels of muting in 4 hp, so just run each out through it :)

Hey, MIDI in a eurorack module is rare and unusual! How many VCOs do you know take MIDI?This was no omission, it's just perfect for modular! You get 5 assignable CV ins, v/oct response on all 6 voices, kit preset saving, morphing, effects, mod matrix , output routing. No MIDI needed :)

​@@QuincasMoreira ah fair enough :) But tbh i've come across quite a few modules with MIDI in modular. Like the Tubbutec 6m0d6 drum module or the Ziqal Dimension, Poly Cinematic Globula, Soundforce DCO, Neutron Sound Dust of Time, EMW Multiwave. Or stuff by Jomox like the Modbrane and the Modbase. The 1010music stuff also. Or the Befaco Lich, Electrosmith Patch, Qu-Bit Nebulae, Poly Hector, Zoia Euroburo, etc.. Even Erica Synths Drum Sequencer, although not a sound generator, has a MIDI input. There's a lot of more but I still think it's shame they didn't keep the MIDI from the standalone version. It's surely playable and fun, don't get me wrong, i'm just ranting about MIDI 😅

Morphed kits can't be saved in the euro version, rather surprising and disappointing because it's a fun and quick way to make either new sounds or entirely new kits. i hope they update the FW so that we can do this for the euro version too.

Good demo, but I'm not impressed with the sounds coming from this thing. It reminds me of the same sounds coming out of Reaktor groove boxes I heard 15 years ago.
