Very nice video if one takes into consideration that there were very difficult conditions to film. Despite bad weather, everyone taking part to this ceremony did its best. Thank you for allowing us to watch these magic moments.

@delvinrodguez3341, is the first march a nod to my crush SDM Chambers, with the, “oy?”
@stevenlee_14 ай бұрын
@@charlottecunningham2141 I believe you're referring to "It's Yer Day"

@@charlottecunningham2141 Hello Charlotte! No, this isn't the march composed for SDM Gareth. "Rhythm of the Line" was written many years ago by George H. Willcocks. They just both share the "OI" part!

Household Division officers wear a Coke (pronounced Cook) and NOT a bowler hat. Umbrellas are never, under any circumstances unfurled; only civilians do that in the rain. They also wear collar detached shirts too; using collar studs and separate collars; formal shirts with attached collars are very infra dig. Their outer coats are navy blue. You will also note some opt for the light brown covert (pronounced cover) coats.

Thank you for all the info! I've never heard of a Coke before!

I always by looking saw that there was a ‘uniformity’ (colour of coat, hat which I did think was a bowler and the umbrella) but didn’t realise that there was such detail so found it interesting, thank you for that. 😊

? (Mr) Coke invented/made first 'bowler' hats I understand@@Royal.Knowledge

@@hazel1605 75 years ago it was the same. It is the standard of dress for officers of the Division when in civilian clothes in London.

Top filming tip…please slow down your panning. You seem in a huge rush and it blurs the image of a moving subject; let them come to you and pan slowly.
