Children's horror is one of my favorite subgerne's, just because they can't usually get super gorey or kill of to many characters-if anyone, and have to get creative with how they make things scary. Even if a lot of it isn't very frightening they usually succeed in at least making a very aesthetically pleasing holiday special.
@Dogy09093 жыл бұрын
It can get annoying for me to see them not put violence even when it would be appropriate, but it’s also probably because I’m a big fan of slashers and body horror (and regular psychological horror). I do like Goosebumps a lot though, I think it can be genuinely haunting if done well.

Do other people remember having seen the same bits Quotnin describes? Please comment if so. I am personally attributing what he describes as a product of the fact that humans have reconstructive memory. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reconstructive_memory "In this manner, the various features of the experience must be joined together to form a coherent representation of the episode.[3] If this binding process fails, it can result in memory errors. The complexity required for reconstructing some episodes is quite demanding and can result in incorrect or incomplete recall." Basically, your brain doesn't store everything in an event, but crucial parts and rebuilds (reconstructs) the memory every time. So if you misremember something (because you forgot some element over time, I guess) as true, you will continue to remember that new element as always being true. Reconstructive memory is like playing telephone with yourself every time you try to remember something.

I want to say they're unable to communicate at that point. To a different point, Was kind of hoping you would have included the kenan and kel made for TV movie that was basically a child appropriate remake of "Nothing But Trouble", that such a thing exists is so weirdly overlooked.
