As a child, voices called my name constantly with no visible person around me. It upset me so much that I used to cry all the time and it finally dissipated a lot around my early teen years, although it does come through sometimes but much less intense than it was. I kept seeing the entity as a tall dark humanoid covered in dripping black tar or oil. Everything it touched left residual ick on it.

Sorry talks of nooses. This all makes sense now. When someone is hanged the hyoid bone is usually fractures. This bone is right below the mandible (lower jaw) which is why so many people felt pain in their jaw. The hyoid is also called the tongue bone so it is why you had trouble speaking and even breathing
