It's basically a drip coffee maker, but with a twist. It doesn't have a "proprietary" carafe for coffee. Which makes it possible to have a flexibility to brew in any vessel that you want.
Also, you're not with the provided filter holder either. You can use your own pour over brewer with the carafe and use only the "hot water supply" function.
It's tall enough to even fit Chemex 6 cups. Definitely must have, especially in the morning, when you don't want to pour the water by yourself.

This is super cute. Ive been looking at some portable water heaters, which this more or less is, and its not too much more expensive than something like that. I like that theres an element of control if you can pause the flow, but the stream didnt come out very well. Im curious to hear how the cups actually tasted with not only low agitation but a low initial flow.

The taste is flawless. Balanced cup in all attempts. You can use faster filters to have more "agitation"

Afterthought - probably great to use without the base for Chemex 3 cups) Because it is narrower. Also, some combination with plungerless aeropress could be nice. But definitely not that bulky as regular drip makers. And more flexible filter selection
