i don’t think that daphne held down simon out of desperation of wanting a child, but to find out whether or not he was lying to her about his true reasons for not wanting children and taking advantage of her naïveté about how children are made. i think losing the baby just exasperated her anger/grief over the duke’s new rules for their marriage moving past the potential pregnancy. i hate that marina thought she had to result to plan tea to make a future for herself. penelope should feel just as bad as her mother. i applaud daphne’s restraint in not throwing something at simon’s head when she learned the truth. i would’ve flown across that room so fast and bopped some sense into that negro’s head. y’all are fantastic. can’t wait to see y’all react to the rest of the bridgerton series. i loved it so much that i named 4 foster pups i had after the first 4 bridgerton kids. and what was even sweeter is that they all got adopted in the order that the bridgerton’s fall in love in the series (their photo is on my insta under the same username) 😊☺️

Yeah, I think she just wanted to be pregnant so bad that her grief was at the period happening itself, not any kind of like miscarriage 😢 but yeah, I mainly love this episode because I like seeing Anthony get punched in the face, but you know the rest of it is interesting too
