Let me break some of it down: 37:57 - There is no Sue. It's just Elisabeth wearing Sue like a costume. When she's in the costume, she feels good. When she's out of the costume, she feels like crap. This is why she keeps spending more and more time as Sue and not caring about her real body, which she hates. Because she's living 2 different lives in two different bodies that feel different, she keeps forgetting that she is just one person, and thinking of the other body as another person. The Sue thing is not human. It's close to human, but she literally spawned from Elisabeth's back in minutes and pukes green stuff and makes Elisabeth think differently when she's in her. 17:16 - No, she isn't a clone. She's *similar* to Elisabeth, but we know she isn't an exact replica because there are pictures of young Elisabeth in the studio hallway. She's not supposed to be her younger self-- just a younger version of herself; they sound similar but are two different things. The movie is a body horror focused on self-hatred. It doesn't want you to pinpoint the time frame which is why people have pagers, newspapers, and cell phones. 46:05 - Quitting a race right at the finish line makes no sense. It's almost disrespectful to the people who made it.

The timeline of the movie is confusing because they went for a futuristic retro setting and it is like set in a fictional version of LA and the movie is not rooted in reality obviously, It's more fantastical as y'all probably know now And the movie was shot in Paris Anyway just wanted to dump some infos about the film but sending love and light to y'all 💕💕💕💕
