This video helped me a lot. We’re very much alike, You’re speaking to my soul. Smoking for 8 years straight and I’m on week 3 and going through crippling depression. But I know it’ll be worth it in the end. Thank you again.

Going well, definitely feel different now. Now and then I get overwhelmed but I let it pass. It’s all change and learning from mistakes. As long as you figure how overturn your thoughts into something positive everything goes smoothly. Having people that remind you of that too helps.

Meditation helps alot. If you get into a deep enough trance and focus on your breathing you can actually get a high and energy buzz that feels great AND it's actually healthy for your soul and mind! Try it sometime

I'm going to buy a yoga Matt and give that a try sometime, when I take one of my my breaks soon I know those first 2 weeks are going to be the hardest just because I'm a daily smoker.
@darthvader1515

@@rogan1679 I feel ya bro. I used to smoke like a freight train but as long as you replace the smoking with another hobby and just do that hobby when the urge comes up, it shouldn't be that hard. Weed is just mentally addicting unlike cigarettes or alcohol... Also, yoga + meditation = huge winz. The trick to yoga is to do it daily because yoga raises the bioelectricity levels in your body. So when you do it for a week straight then stop for a few days, you're gonna screw yourself cuz your bioelectrical levels will fall down because you're being sporadic with it. You'll get depressed ,I'm telling you from experience. So do yoga every single day even If it's just for 15 mins a day, your body/soul will thank you in the long-run 👍

@@darthvader1515I'm so used to smoking after work that it just became routine, but ya a hobby will definitely help, that and listening to music that will make you jam out alot, that's not a bad workout. Lol

Good looking guy! nice insights. try these maybe it helps: Keep your eyes relaxed. Don’t follow/re-live anxious thoughts. Keep back of head relaxed. Change rhythm of breathing to get into “I’m in control state”. Use food and other drugs in moderation. And just like motivational doc says “make it a great day”.

Sounds like you are on the right path my friend, keep it up! If you have not not already, try to look into mindfulness meditation (e.g. Headspace App, Calm App) and learn breathing techniques (i.e. pursed lip breathing, diaphragmatic breathing and power breathing) as well as sensory and cognitive grounding techniques for more coping mechanisms.

Bro I’m 2 months (56 days) clean and I’m trying to figure out why I should not go back to smoking. I mean it’s completely fucked my life up. Had so much going for me and invested so much money into my life and then paused it cuz now I’m so anxious and I had to leave college and come back home. At some point I don’t know how much longer I can go like this cuz when I caught covid I quit weed cold turkey and the anxiety got so bad it scared me from smoking weed again and now I’m just wondering why shouldn’t I ducking go back

@@jbeing007 hey thanks for replying. I am doing all of those currently! I left college a few week after covid and I basically epxirence the quitting weed and also health anxiety from covid and stress pains combined sent me into this spiral. I’ve had good weeks and bad weeks, good days/bad days. 2 months clean and I totally am appreciative of the fact that I’m not leaning on any anything like weed to keep me going and my vision for life and happiness is slowly but surely opening back up. ❤️

I'm 2 weeks in after 16years and I am 32.... So I'm trying to find ways to get through it alone, which isn't by choice, I'm sweating and paranoid amongst other things. Scared for no reason of what I don't know. I don't want to smoke that's not a struggle because of how I feel now. I also quit smoking cigarettes' and drinking at the same time. so any advice I can get or solutions id be thankful.

Well you’re still consuming THC in edible form so no it doesn’t count as quitting. Personally I decided to quit it all. I’m 2 weeks in, been feeling better but I have the craziest craving to dry herb vaporize because I miss the flavor of the terpenes and the high but I’m not caving in to my temptations.
