Villains are often considered heroes in their own story because from their own perspective their actions are justified and motivated by a belief that they are doing the right thing to achieve a greater goal. Even if that goal is perceived as evil by others essentially they see themselves as the protagonist in their own narrative. Fighting for what they believe is right even if it conflicts with the established morality of the story.

I made this line for a villain I made. "If god has infinite power and only wants whats good, then why does evil still exist, if he has all this power at the power of his finger tips, why doesn't he just instantly make sin disappear? You see he... he doesn't care, but once I overthrow him all that chaos will disappear, all the prayers will be answered, tears, anger, fear, weakness will be erased since I will care about every single being on this planet, galaxy, universe, multiverse, or whatevers out there, everything will be perfect for everyone no matter what! GODS WILL GIVE THEIR SACRIFICES TO THEIR BELIEVERS, NOT BELIEVERS GIVING SACRIFICES TO THEIR GODS!"

The real villains to hate is the ones who are purely evil. Pure evil villains that create more villains like those who are completely right. Villains who destroy people’s spirit and blind their judgement with fear and hate are the ones who should be hated, not the villains who’s been broken.

In a messed up way the villains are always right. Most cases it's because of the society. Sometimes it's the government. The one common thing here is that these villains in a way are the ones that actually know what they are doing since they freed themselves from whatever barrier they had or whatever one society did. But because of this people tend to fear or can't accept that maybe he/she is right. In that world it's not always good and bad. It's always what's right and what's wrong but the real truth of that

The world has shades of gray but just because a villain is right? It doesn’t justify his action of killing innocents. And it’s the way they go about it that is wrong

I relate to the villains more than the heroes. People become villains based on what they have went through and experienced. The world took stuff from them so they are going to take everything away from the world. Either by destroying it or getting revenge on the ones who have wronged them they see the world through a perspective we cannot see. They see the world for what it truly is. They are trying to make a new world in their own way by remaking it in their iwn proper image which i respect start it over with a clean slate but they are always cast out bc they are labeled as different

It is the way the villains do to achieve their goals that make them villains. Like hurting innocents who had nothing to do with his/her suffering. And just because he had everything taken away from them is no excuse to get people killed doing it

"The only difference between a villain and a hero is how they use pain. A villain uses it to hurt the world because it hurt them. A hero uses it as an oath that no one else will endure that pain." I don't remember the quote perfectly. But while we can sympathize with the villains, they are never, ever right. Its never right to hurt innocent people. Its never right to plunge the world into darkness in hopes that everything will turn out good. Its never right to sacrifice 1 innocent for the rest of the world or the world for 1. "After every night, there is dawn on the horizon." But not everyone that sleeps at night, ever wake ups at dawn. For some, dawn never comes. Light never comes. All because a villain wanted to hurt the world in return by plunging it into darkness. "Each and every human life is unique. They are never the same. So, when one dies, that's it. Anything like that being, will never ever be born ever again in the entire history of the world." "Justice is blind, not heartless." If you want to bring justice, do not tremble on another's. That is not called Justice; it is hypocrisy. Which is why, we need a "quotes from heroes who were completely right."

@ so doflamingo was right in starting a massacre just to get the position of king? Turning people into toys? Erasing their existence from their loved ones memory? @ so a villain has the right to kill and massacre innocents, children, woman, elderly, man, as long as their points are valid? I mean, if your loved ones were among those innocents, you’d surely forgive the villain right? I mean, they are in the right. It was your loved ones fault for being close to the villains objective right? The villain is fighting for the greater good after all.

I wonder what's like to be a villain. Villains is known by one meaning as the opposite of good or an outsider to people's belief. As a hero; you can only swear for as long as you don't care, you insult people proving you can overcome them, the more you fight instead of talking and realizing the worst things would come by everything you believe in saving had already been destroyed. One time I had a dream about indigenous genocide in Australia. Everything I feel utterly connected to, any living thing despite our differences, have all been slaughtered for sport and the crying for aid had been ignored. From that moment in my dream, I feel such unrelenting power of revenge in me. I cannot tell whether it means a good sign or evil, the only answer I could find describing this dream and my changing personality: is powerful. The movies I have watched since I was a child, I adore heroes because of what they do. Doctor Who, Avengers, Jedi Order, MACUSA of Fantastic Beasts. Now as a young adult I feel betrayed. Betrayed by believing these so-called 'heroes' are compassionate and just, by being ruthless and arrogant. Where was compassion to their opponents when all they do is taunt and oppress then gets away with it? How blind are they to the conflict of allowing evil growing from within their very walls and died because of their lack of awareness? Anakin Skywalker in Clone Wars believed Obi-Wan had been killed by a bounty hunter and attempt to avenge him in the name of justice, not knowing Obi-Wan is alive and disguised himself as the same bounty hunter to infiltrate Count Dooku's operations in secret. Anakin felt so much pain from losing his own best friend and mentor then became more angry at Obi-Wan in the end by not being told of what the Jedi Council had been scheming and do not seek to trust his loyalty. Atrocitus of the DC Universe used to have an extraordinary life in the past by living with his wife and children and the people he cared for as a psychiatrist. All that until the Guardians of the Green Lantern Corp sent their precious Manhunter robots to fly into deep space bringing order and justice however triggered by a glitch to hunt down and exterminate any living creature detected by emotions. Atrocitus had lost everything; his own home, his family, every living thing on his home planet. And on that day on, he's losing his grip of his moral personality to pass through such terrible loss as he swore bloody vengeance that began the Red Lantern Corp powered by hate. I realized now that their hatred does not come from racism or power-lust, it comes from those that they loved and lost forever. King Orm of Atlantis is right about the crimes of humanity have done to the ocean, as it keeps happening in real life. If all these goodness wildlife creation ended up the same way as what I have in my dream, then there is no further reasons of me to keep living in a man-made hell. In an alternate universe, Thanos loses everything he love and protected. So he have been seeking out solutions to ensure what did to his home world should never again happen to any places across the universe, that includes Gamora's from famine and slavery. I'm just sharing my point of view that not all parallel times and places are exact same and the differences we expect more. To those who are curious about my dream. It won't be pretty. My dream occurred shortly after my trip to Uluru at the Heart of Australia for my 17th Birthday years ago, the first time to set foot and explore there. I described this feature in real life as 'The Land of Fire With No Burn', makes me feel connected to all living things and what is sacred to the Indigenous I humbly respected. In my dream, I was in the plane, it felt like being back in the future, with all tea-making machines and stairways you could go, all that until we've been crash landed. I woke up, checking any survivors, no one is there; just me. And so, I felt quite stressed of being stranded in an unknown place, alone, feeling isolated. I reached beyond the top of the hill next to me, hoping I could find any life signs to avoid from dehydration and sunstroke. Instead, something changes. I see bodies. So many bodies of Indigenous people, scattered everywhere. I wandered slowly across. They are either shot, burnt or beaten to death. The longer I see them, the more I realize their screams are coming towards me. It was awful. I wanted to escape this dream, but something forces me to stay there until something happened. I ran. Ran as fast as I could. Then something shook on the earth I can feel my whole body lifting from the ground in the air. I looked at my left side, there it was; the sacred Red Rock had been dynamited. The sky darkens more. My heart felt so heavy I couldn't even move. Then the screams stopped. Then I looked ahead at the bottom of the hill where I have been standing upon, a prison camp almost like Auschwitz. There is where the Australian troops dressed like back in the 1900's ruthlessly whips Indigenous children mining for gold nearby. I wanted to do something. Anything impossible. Not while there are guard towers that would shoot anything on sight, particularly me. They have proved that when they left piles of emus and kangaroos left outside their fence. Then I saw movement. A mighty red kangaroo trying to breathe, I immediately run towards it caring less whether I am being spotted, having cramps, somebody cursed me because I support Indigenous life. And then, my body starts to froze. I cannot move. Then something moved on my left hand. I looked at it, there was blood. It appeared out of nowhere. Then it appears on my right hand. The red kangaroo had already died in front of me and I started to lose control. My bones went numb, my breath shortens, my tears running dried and wet at the same time, my mind tipping upside-down, my entire body trembles by my own anxiety. I am feeling unbearable of all this, then I screamed. As I screamed the thunder surroundings me and shot a bolt of lightning in me. I finally woke up, flooded with both sweat and tears. I can begin to slow my breathe and calm my mind. It was early in the morning, maybe around 4 am. I stayed awake at that time before I went back to sleep. Another strange thing happened; my dream brought me back to the same desolated place, where the Australian government decided to violate in search for gold and exterminating our hosts, except I was a different person. I remembered I clawed myself out from buried within the dirt, instead it was a pile of ash. I breathe differently, like a low animal growl. Then I get to see my back view. I was wearing some kind of an inky cloak armed with metal weapons like the Jeepers Creepers, staring towards the prison camps. I realized now who I was, someone who loved and supported all living things despite our differences, had died by heartbreak then depression. Then what became of me is some sort of a reaper of souls born from the ashes like a phoenix, who seeks no joy but desire; desire to wipe out inhumane actions. Perhaps what I have learnt from my dream is back from studying class for history, to learn about ourselves, where we are right now, its importance and the tragedies we have to look into. Connects to my visit to Uluru for my birthday and the love from that place inspires my personality. All that is like a warning to me. A warning what had began in the past can happen somewhere in the future when we choose not to act. Maybe this adds among millions of reasons why we choose to become villains. Whether someone who is different, like indigenous, black and white, part of the LGBTIQA+ community, all people's rights and their ways of religion, my heart is open to all. I too want to be a villain as vengeful as Jason Voorhees, hopeful as Thanos and eagerness to restore honour as Prince Zuko. I hope this is information is not too much as a sign of clarity. 😉

I must say that is truly a vivid dream. And I understand, humanity has done and will always be capable of great evil just as we are capable of great good. But does this make all of humanity evil? And worth destruction even if there are a few good ones left? One thing I know about vengeance is that you too will be consumed by it just like those you desire vengeance on. But when people become powerful they become arrogant, ignorant, or worse controlling and tyrannical. Power can change people for the worse just like vengeance can. Although vengeance is understandable. Take the anti hero’s Ghost Rider, and the Punisher. They are great examples of embodiments of vengeance

My friend... I feel your pain. Reading your dream has left me almost in tears. I know that betrayal, that anger, and the strange perverse power that such darkness brings. I'm wrestling with things like that too. Wondering why humanity feels like a plague on this planet, wondering if we really deserve to go on hurting each other the way we have for centuries. Then, I'll see something, a butterfly, a child laughing, something bright, a spark. Like a star in a black sky, and I think to myself, "That is worth saving, that spark, that light. But what if I can't save if? If I can't save it... at least I can appreciate being here to witness it for the short time that it exists. Eventually everything will die, whether we destroy it or not, but in this moment, right now, let us appreciate the spark and hopefully keep it alive just a little longer, before the darkness swallows us all whole.

You can't really call Death from puss in boots a villain. He was just doing his job and hates those who don't value their lives. Puss had 8 previous chances to value his lives and took them for granted. Death was just a frustrated guy who was really overworked. Especially with Jack Horner around. How many of Jack's forces were K.I.A. by Horner himself?

An anime I watched, Saga of Tanya the Evil, the little monster does horrific acts on defenseless people, but the sad thing she is right. She wins the battle, but the survivors of her campaigns, they'll just come back for revenge or continue fighting. So for that reason, total victory can only be achieved when there's no one left to fight.

Now, I don’t know (nor do I really need to know) if you are religious or not…… but there is ALWAYS A REASON/EXCUSE for everything when it comes to EVERYTHING religious!!! What makes it a “reason” or just a “excuse” is determined by the person being told it and if “they” find it a good enough reason/excuse to except!!! Which that is definitely another one of those concepts that this world has clearly either forgotten about or just flat out ignores!!! But that doesn’t make it any less true!!!

Super villains are no the same as bad guys. Some have reasons to be evil, to stay evil, after losing their grip of personality from those they adore so much dragged deep into darkness where they cannot reach them. When being forced to live in a world that means no compassion, they evolved to be as ruthless and determined as their opponents, the only differences they have are motivations to the world and the power they gain. Sometimes to save the world and all of its creation from the tyranny of some superior lifeforms is to burn anew like a phoenix, such creativity exists only what we have been burdened to love and secure. A hero needs a villain to befriend, even after everything they've been through that is unquestionably tragic. Being a monster as our form would take is no symbol of shame, we have to learn to use our time to make peace with our troubles. Some people heroes have saved are the future of their own doom, the arrogance and the heartless. When messages warn what future may bring when being shunned, the chances are wasted. Some heroes we expect them to be so much more are a cruel joke, certainly show no remorse to the villains who knew what it takes of suffering greater than their imaginations.

Morality is totally subjective. It’s a man made concept. There is no good or bad, right or wrong, heroes or villains. It all depends on opinion and perspective. Nothing more. There is no such thing as justice, order, laws, rules, etc. All of them are man made. In nature, everyone is free. Free to do whatever their heart desires. It’s the natural law. People should be free to do whatever they want. It’s their life, so why shouldn’t it be that way? Who is anyone else to judge them for that? They control their own life. They can do what they want with it.

So of course this seems true but add God to the equation and the realisation is that we are all villains against the one true standard. So what do you do then?

We all need to take a close look at the road we follow and be aware of how it might end or how it run its cost we reap what we sow force answer force war breeds war and death only brings death to break this vicious circle one must do more than just act without any thought or doubt because it facts and true on what we do with it think about it up to you

those are the worlds of a person with only negative though, while in this world there more evil then good we who want to change even though small deeds can make a bigger difference and while evil men who earns for more shall one day rue as they only thing they have when there last moments of life what they have but cold money that wonts remember him, and pay for there sinner if or it not though religion, while people who help others the help them self that our good deeds have inspire others to change for the better.

im starting to see that villians only get half the information and trying to be heroes and only see one tool to fix things when people disagree. smh... na villians are completely wrong in their ideal and can only see one exit when there are several.

I call bs on Zamasu though. First off, he seemed all the times Goku & the rest saved the freakin' Earth, which seems to never have humans wage World Wars. That's a curious thing, unless Kami said otherwise because he witnessed the Earth for so long. Secondly, what about the Kais? DragonBall hasnt delved into that race. If the Kais are so perfect, no crime, no sinners, Zamasu wouldn't be evil & Daima wouldnt have another evil Kai. Then there's the DB Multiverse. Zamasu didn't see that there's a Universe where Saiyans are good, among other things. Also, we haven't seen Exile Kang's deal. Hopefully we will.
