I'm feeling good Maashaa'Allah about these series Alhamduli'Allah. I'm familiar with several languages completed the Quran but whether English, French or Arabic l never took the time for actual grammar not Tajweed (AS l am a Quranic reciter& Teacher by trade).. So this is very interesting as now more than ever I am engaging more in Arabic and this uses the Quran which is excellent 👌

Assalâmu alaykum If we stop at هو should we say hû (long vowel) oder huw? Similarly at هي: is it than hî (long vowel) or hiy.

Wa alikom asslam, Yes, If you stop at a word, you drop the short vowel. So stopping at هو and هي will mean that you will have to pronounce them as hû and hî But if you continue reading, you will pronounce the short vowel normally.

Wa alikom asslam, I have not forgotten it Alhamdulilah ... I only teach the words that will help you understand the Quran. ANTI is not used in the Quran, so that is something you can just skip. In other series, MSA Arabic grammar, I include it and other words that are used in Arabic but not in the Quran.

The name الله is recited Mufakkham with heavy sound because of the fat'ha tha ى carries before it as you can see.. So it's not Kasra that precedes the Allah's name! Wallahu A'alam
