raven's son there is no doubt a lot of narrations are authentic and we have to follow them, especially when they are in accordance with the quran or don’t go against it. However the empires seem to have fabricated some reports over the years to legitimize some of their actions.

I'm neither Sunnî nor Shî`ite, I have no sect, but did you know that Imâms Abû Ḥanîfah ibn Thâbiṫ & Mâlik ibn Anas had a teacher who was of Ahlul-Bayṫ (People of the Household of the Prophet Muḥammad, صلّى ٱلله عليه وآله وسلّم), that is Imâm Ja`far aṣ-Ṣâdiq? It's like this, Imâm Ja`far was the father of Imâm Mûsâ al-Kâẓim (father of Imâm `Alî ar-Riḍâ, father of Imâm Muḥammad al-Jawâd, father of Imâm `Alî an-Naqî, father of Imâm Al-Ḥasan al-`Askarî, whom even a few Sunnis have said is the father of Al-Mahdî), and his father was Imâm Muḥammad al-Bâqir. The father of al-Bâqir was Imâm `Alî Zaynul-`Âbidîn the son of Al-Ḥusayn ibn `Alî, and his mother was Fâṭimah the daughter of Caliph Al-Ḥasan ibn `Alî, so al-Bâqir was a grandson of Al-Ḥasan & Al-Ḥusayn the grandsons of the Prophet Muḥammad (صلّى ٱلله عليه وآله وسلّم). its is an excellent thinking on the part of creators to take good books and review them. In my humble opinion, it would benefit the viewer if the names of the authors are shown as subtitles. Also, an end slate is added that summarizes the review in terms of good points and improving points. Another end slate should mention where the book can be purchased from. Keep doing the good work.

To me without Hadith we will be lost and wouldn’t grasp the knowledge and deen of Allah. The Sahabah had the privilege of the Prophet teaching them and guiding them, so they may have not needed a book of hadith since they had the prophet. But us we have no prophet with us, so we need the hadith.

The era of Faqeehs preceded the era of Muhadditheen. The Fiqh imams Imam Abu Hanifah and Imam Malik had already derived and developed their Fiqh from Ahadeeth much before Imam Bukhari was even born. Their criteria of accepting ahadeeth was different from Imam Shafi3i who came after them. Imam Malik and Imam Abu Hanifah, as was the norm in their time, accept the Mursal of a Tabi3i but Imam Shafi3i, who came after, does not accept the Mursal of a Tabi3i. This is just one difference in their approach of deriving fiqh. Imam Bukhari is a Muhaddith and specialises in Hadeeth. Fiqh is not a specialisation of his. Had he specialised in Fiqh, he wouldn't have followed Imam Shafi3i and would have made a fiqhi mazhab of his own.

I think you are confusing the zakat with the prayers... zakat is a social obligation towards ur society and the nation in the first place, prayer is only between u and God. Hanafis are known as “the school of rational opinion” مدرسة أهل الرأي so they don’t approve 90% of Hadiths they reach which’s little! Yet Hanafi school is the oldest school so at the time the Muslim scholars never had so much interesting in Hadiths! And school of Hadith is not yet to be formed! Imam Malik wrote the first book in Hadith called Al-Mowata’ الموطأ long after Imam abu Hanifa.

Muhammad Al Shaybani was a student of both Imams Abu Hanifa and Malik.... Imam Malik chose to have Imam Muhammad Al Shaybani while he was authoring the Muwatta... Hence why Shaybani had a book with the same name which he helped Co Author 📙....

To say the Hanafis didn't have enough Hadith is a poor accusation which you don't have any proof for..... The 6 Hadith collectors of that era were known as Madar Al Hadith (Pillars of Hadith).. 6 Tabaeen, ibn Shihab Azuhri, Amr Ibn Dinar, Qatada Asatussi, Yahya ibn Abee Katheer, Abu Ishaq Asabaeei and Suliman Al A'mash...Imam Malik only took Hadith from his main teacher ibn Shihab Azuhri.. Abu Hanifa took Hadith from 5 of these 6 giants and only missed Yahya Ibn Katheer... This is the Ilm Al Rijal that the opponents of Abu Hanifa don't seem to understand....

Be careful taking fiqh advice from this individual. His very good in comparative religion alhamdulilah. But he is giving one opinion and not offering alternative options for very strong Hadith which can be used to back up and strengthen ahad Hadith. He is taking a very apologetic approach to his explanation and it sounds as if he has a hidden agenda behind his explanation. High lighting his understanding of apostasy. We forget the vary famous “apostasy war” Abu Bakr (ra) carried against the apostates who refused to give zakah. His war against them collectively in one of many evidences of the HAD punishment against the muratdeen (apostates)

He is confusing usul al-fiqh with mustala al-hadith, usul al-hadith or the science of hadith. The science of hadith is independent of school of thought or as it is called in arabic Madhhab. A hadith is evaluated based on its own merits and classified accordingly. Hanafis do reject application of some hadith based on their own criteria but not the hadith itself. Dr. sahab with all due respect sounds tentative talking about this subject, he should have stayed away from this subject. Alhamdulillah he is doing a masterful job in comparative religion, indeed this is his area of expertise not the science of hadith.

Bismillah . . .! Shabir, how did you get that title of Dr.? Did you get it by schooling in western education or what? What I know is the western education as in all universities of the World are the one that grant such title. No verse of the Quran that requires a believer in Allah swt to earn that title. Not even Prophet Muhammad pbuh ever accepted by his will a title or calling other than as Prophet & Messenger of Allah swt which calling was not by his will & desire but by Allah swt. Among the Prophets, only Prophet Abraham was given by Allah swt a title as Imam. All others are not. But today's scholars of Islam are so proud attaching Dr in their name which they themselves know not why in TRUTH, except may be by ego & pride as weapon of Satan to influence mankind to be his companion in Hellfire. Worst, some even adapted a name as Mufti or Grand Mufti while they know not its origin, history & who crafted such title & how & who started it & for what reason, purpose & authority. Now, they are making & deciminating their "fatwa" to the Ummah for them to follow & believe in. Are they God to be obeyed of their words? For what & upon whose order or authority? Masha'allah! Allahu'akbar!

Hanafi Schools simple method is, just keep following what has been followed by generations, and ignore anything and everything else. Hanafi madhab is actually a fake madhab. It is the invention of Qadhi Abu Yusuf, who gave opinions (fatwas) just to please the Abbasids. He gave fatwas that a divorced pronounced by a man under duress was binding. This gave license to Abbasid rulers and their stooges to abduct any woman and force her husband to pronounce divorce.

ozair tahir nope! Hanafis are known as “the school of rational opinion” مدرسة أهل الرأي so they don’t approve 90% of Hadiths they reach which’s little! Yet Hanafi school is the oldest school so at the time the Muslim scholars never had so much interesting in Hadiths! And school of Hadith is not yet to be formed! Imam Malik wrote the first book in Hadith called Al-Mowata’ long after Imam abu Hanifa.
