Tom Gones Lol you look at the attention to detail from Japanese tuners in the touge videos and then you see this. The only thing US tuners do is add power. Very little attention is given to the car's handling. In one of those videos, the guys in Japan were literally changing the angle of their rear wing, chasing a 0.3 seconds around the track.

I never understood why XS engineering kept bringing different cars instead of letting the R34 defend its title. The very first time I saw this episode I was under the impression that Eric sabotaged his car.

You know why. It’s America! The dudes privately owned R34 should have been in the battle. But it’s definitely easy to see how different the tuning is here from Japan. They take the smallest things into consideration and make huge results. Here it’s always been about power. I have yet to see any car in America perform to the caliber of what the car does when tuned by a Japanese tuner. Case in point look at how the XS R34 was all over the place. Now go watch a R34 tuned by a shop in Japan perform. It’s crazy

It's like time attack one car starts in front each time, an which one pulls the most distance on the other wins pretty much.

In this rule, behind car is not allowed to over take. So they judge win/loss by the car distance when they passed line. In this situation, the GT-R won because it gets very close to STi when it passed line.
