Chako, Maki, thank you for the great tour. As a Japan native who’s been living in US for the last 38 years, I learned so much about Horyuji from this video. I’ve been there once when I was living in Tokyo , but I was more interested in girls than the history and culture that this great country has to offer back then. I was thinking about visiting Japan once the Covid situation calms down worldwide, and Horyuji was one of several places I definitely wanted to visit again this time with my renewed, more mature sense of true appreciation of this world treasure. Thanks again, Shin from Colorado

Wow, you've lived a long time out of Japan! The first time I lived in Japan, as a student, I definitely spent more time on the "pop culture" activities, so I didn't really pay close enough attention to the real treasures back then. But as history is my great passion, I'm happy to be back now and really digging into it deeply in my area. I hope you'll get a chance to come back to Japan soon and definitely visit Horyuji! I hope my video can be a little bit helpful in guiding you there!
Fantastic, I learned a lot from your video. Your explanation is so knowledgeable. In addition, I picked up some English words and expressions new to me. I really look forward to the next video.

That is majestic to pay a visit to Horyuji (法隆寺), which provides a history of traditional Japanese culture of royalty.💫

Hi Chako-Chan Thank you for uploading Video clip of your power spot tour. I love it. It seems Visitors from other nations been focusing Tokyo and Kyoto. KZbinr too I guess. Your video clip reports Nara where keeps one of Japanese oldest history/culture. Hope you to keep going to show us. Privately, am curious about a difference between Culture of Nara and Kyoto.

Hi and thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying my videos of Nara! Yes, Tokyo and Kyoto are especially popular spots, and while I do love visiting Kyoto, it's so over done and Nara is where my heart is truly at, so I hope to be able to show people all the beautiful and hidden treasures that exist here. After all, this is where Japan's imperial beginnings are and so much of that history gets overlooked. Some day I'd like to address the topic of differences between culture of Nara and Kyoto. Look out for it!
法隆寺は日本の至宝です。奈良へやって来る外国人観光客で法隆寺まで来る人が少ないのは大変残念なことです。 Horyuji temple is the greatest national treasure in Japan. It is a pity that there are few foreign tourists at Horyuji temple.
