There is a Huge competition in the front 3. My preferable choice: Bruno Amad Rasmus Mount Garnacho Rashford have to fight for their place. In wing backs I guess Shaw(if fit), Mazraoui, Dalot these are the only options now. Antony also could be an option

The place differ, is defence. Martinez, Ligt and (Drum roll, plz.) Lind... I don't know why, I just sense Lind stands a good chance there. He just fits RCB really well for this setup and Yoro may not be ready yet.

I could honestly see Mazraoui, Ugarte or Casemiro being used as the emergency third CB, Evans and DeLigt are the only truely fit CB. Yoro and Shaw aren't ready yet, no idea how much Lindelöf, Martinez and Maguire are yet.

Extremely windy conditions should be factored in!! The gusty conditions will play havoc with the passing for both teams. But that kind of chaos can favour the home team who will be fired up after beating Tottenham. It will be very very challenging and Amorim will get a baptism of fire. United often complacent after a few victories…. The manager and coaching staff will need to be prepared for one hell of a battle.

I’m ten miles from Ipswich at our stables (cliche I know) and it’s not too windy, I think it’s just as windy up north. I think Man U will find it tricky to start, but as long as they stay in it early doors, they’ll settle and get at least a point. I’m a neutral but have been to both grounds lots of times, Ipswich is real nice but old school with it…it’s different, but it’s not quite Luton!

I pretty much think the same thing about the line up expect Højlund, Rashford has been training as the striker with Amorim (before Højlund), so I think you'll see Rashford there and not Højlund Other than that, its possible we see Mainoo in one of the 2 midfield positions, but Casa and Ugarte may start as well, Between the 3 of them they are good options

I think we might see a more attacking formation in terms of wingbacks. Have a feeling Garnacho might start on the left, and possibly Rashford alongside Bruno, with Bruno on the right side of the foward pairing, with Amad replacing Marcus if he;s not feeling it. and Dalot in for Garnacho if we go two up and we shift into a more conservative approach..

When I played 40 to 50 years ago. 3 4 3 was the norm. But the defence never crossed the halfway line. And nobody played out from the back. Pretty tedious game these days. Too many tactics, not enough football. Looking forward to this game. Never said that with ETH. Our team isn't great. Needs a big sort out. But what I want to see is effort. Unselfish football. If this bloke can't get these Muppets to pass the ball into and around the box. I want a go. None of this inverted winger crap. Because every defender knows where they are going, pointless. Proper football. And actually score some goals. Wouldn't that be nice. Fingers crossed.

There's no place for Erikson and Mainoo isn't fit which means Bruno and Casemiro have to start. Garnacho typically has proved to be a nightmare for the opposition defence in the second half but he plays on his own instinct more than carrying out team tactics and his decision making is poor compared to Amads, I really don't think he has the discipline to stick to the game plan or to individual instructions. In terms of keeping the ball, tracking back and turning over possession Amad is by far the best option to start. I'd be happy to see Garnacho come on in the second half if required but long term I have a feeling he's not got the patience, self discipline or humility to be coached and develop his game or change his mind set; he clearly wants to be a Galactico. I like him but he's not as good as he thinks he is and the team comes first, I won't be bothered if he leaves as long as Amorim or the Board can strengthen the team and make better progress, and that goes for every player at the club.
