Fun little note here: One of the shelters near me looks just like any other boxy business building out there. But the moment you go towards the back where the cats are they've got this big window that looks into a room furnished just like a normal living room and there are cats everywhere. They do have an area for dogs but it's not as impressive as the cat room.

the building at 15:54 at least looks like a old anti aircraft bunker built by the nazis in ww2 to protect major cities, they were gigantic, covered in guns on all sides and due to the way they were build they were resilient enough to take hits from bombers and still be operable. Quick note about the spiders wearing raindrops as hats, actually the photographer put the raindrops there to take some extra artsy pics. Also I don't think they're peacock spiders but they are jumping spiders which is the family peacock spiders are in. However all male jumping spiders will dance to get a mate and male peacocks will twerk their brightly colored fuzzbums which is a delightful sight. Definitely worth looking up and watching.

Robin, it's 'KWOKKA'. Simple as that. The weird tower near the end, (15:51), looks like one of the Flak Towers erected around Berlin in the last war. Each one is a self-contained little fortress, which had anti aircraft guns (Fliegerabwehrkanone, or 'Flak' for short) on top.

For those wondering. At 15:50 that is an anti-air tower. In WW2 it would be filled with dozens of Anti-Air weaponry including flaks. It can conver a large area and was so effective that most simply never went past them. Since it didn't cover most of germany, allied and soviet pilots simply went on alternative routes as these towers can't move and only has a maximum range of effectiveness. And yes, they were ridiculously tough and well built.

If any of you were wondering what this building at 15:52 is, here's an explanation: This building here is a German flak tower from WW2. These were large, heavily armored concrete towers fitted with powerful anti aircraft flak guns. They had some pretty high powered guns, allowing the tower to shoot down any aircraft near it, leading to a deadzone for miles where bombers couldn't fly at. They were also used as air raid shelters. Multiple of these flak towers were built across Germany over the course of the war, slowly degrading in quality and changing design as raw material ran out. The hardened concrete construction of these towers made demolishing and removal of them after the war incredibly difficult, as there wasn't any major weak point to target. Instead, the towers were simply left alone, some of them being converted for other uses, some being simply abandoned, and others integrated into the cities around them.
