RCP2 would be a great mixing board for a radio station if it only had more stereo USB input channels to connect to a radio playout software. Like 4 stereo inputs on USB 1 would be perfect. USB 2 could then be used to stream to a dedicated pc.

Wait, you can link two inputs into a single fader as a stereo source? Well, that gives a workaround to the need for a 4th virtual channel for streamers then (though that would still be nice to see, maybe as a second virt channel coming through USB2)....run a USB-based DAC like a Fiio K3 for your music into two of the physical ports on the RCP2 and stereo-link those two ports to a single fader, then use the virtual channels for game, chat, and system sounds (alerts/browsers etc)...not as cost-effective as an extra virtual channel on USB2 would be for the end user, but definitely a workable alternative.

can you guys enable sound effects pads on chained inputs for instance line in 1 and 2 as stereo

Is there a way to connect the audio directly into a Sony camera from the rodecaster pro 2?

There is, however we don't recommend it. We would suggest the best approach would be to record directly to the RØDECaster Pro II and sync in post.

Are the levels of the vitual channels controllabe via the pc software?

I wish we could use the usb-c secondary to link another audio interface For example (a DJ controller that has dual usb-A plugs) Basically using USB (A) to USB (c) cable or adapter

what do i do? i’m trying to record off my rodecaster pro 2, and when i hit the “rec” it doesn’t begin to record the button is still blue

You will need a storage device such as a MicroSD or External SSD. So I’m other words you can control game audio and music with out having both usb plugged in I guess I won’t be control music with a fader like on the goxlr

If the only audio on your stream is your mic, your game and your music, then yes, you can control all three on faders using just one cable. Just assign your game to the main channel, your music to the chat channel and you should be all good 👌
