Man i lost my red brick Gameboy with my pokemon red in it at school. Not sure who took it cause everyone in school bullied me cause i was a social awkward and weird nerd. The thing that hurt me the most was the pokedex was 100% i had them all, Half of them were level 100. After a few months after my brother saved enough money to buy me a Gameboy colour with another new Pokemon red in it. I still have it beside my bed and it still functions well after 20 years.

Saying we "let" Denmark and Sweden rule us makes little sense, considering Norway straight up didn't have the power to leave at the time, having been hit the worst by the black death and having most of its nobility and educated move away to Denmark. And calling Norway corrupt and tyrannical also makes no sense, as it was the Danish king (who ruled the Kalmar union) who killed some hundred Swedish anti-unionists which sparked the war where Sweden broke away from the union. Norway barely even had a government at the time, forcing it to become a Danish province by default. It took a whole 500 years for Norway to recover enough to be able to break free, and due to Denmark being on the losing side of the Napoleonic war it was given the opportunity to create its own constitution setting in motion the events that led to it finally being free, which is what the 17th of May (not the 14th...?) celebrates.

My brother stole cards from me all the time. I just recently got a copy of my favorite YuGiOh card at the time that he stole. It was a Red Eyes Darkness Dragon. I had like almost every Red Eyes available at the time, and got several more as well, but when it was taken I was fuming silently for a year. Especially since I never saw it again. Also, I had many books on Pokemon growing up. From the Scholastic ones that had lots of errors, to the Pokedex guides with full movesets, abilities, etc., to how to draw books and all sorts of other random stuff.

for the karma thing at the begining, well, theres another explanation for that, as it happens karma is a concept stolen from budhism, a faith which also believes in a cycle of reincarnation so how that "misplaced" karma was explained, atleast within budhism, is that the person experiencing the bad shit did bad things in their previous life and its finally caught up in this one the other explanation i heard, is people whether purposefully or not, taking punishments in this life, and getting a better reincarnation the next go around, rather interesting stuff tbh

There's actually a good reason why the airline would need your weight. Planes are finely balanced machines and if something throws of that balance it can cause a crash. Storage in the back, passengers in the front. The two have to stay within a certain balance. Back in the day they just assumed an average weight per passenger and average weight per luggage bag. As a result of these assumptions inevitably being wrong one plane found itself with way too much weight at the back. Upon liftoff it pointed steeply upward, eventually stalled, and came straight down. They need to know how much they're carrying.
