There are some more niyams Angushtam should not touch Tharjani while giving Arghyam because of which we might get RAKTHAPANA DOSHAM Guruji did it correctly but Students touched there Thumb(Angushtam) to Tharjani finger.. And while doing Achamanam with keshava namas water should not touch mustach otherwise we will end up getting PRATHYAVAYU DOSHA. We shouldn't make sound while doing Achamanam.. Please correct me if any thing is wrongly written.. Source: I got this information from a pravachan by Guru Samavedam Shanmukha Sarma. (A Pravachana kartha from Telugu States). My ancestors were Rigvedi Brahmins, who probably followed the rituals as per the Ashwalayana Sutra. My parents set up a nuclear family in Mumbai and we lost all possible connections with our heritage as we achieved high accolades in western styled education. I’m now in my late 40s and live overseas, I want to teach my children something about our heritage which I’m myself clueless. I cannot understand Kannada, but your channel is very informative, would it be possible to get subtitles in Hindi or English.

It is said that, Gayathri mantra is a collection of words which resonates vibration. Both the ways of chanting is useful, while chanting louder would create even more vibration in the system.
