do FYI, jet fuel is mostly just diesel that has be extra refined with a few extra steps. in *theory* you could run an f-16 off diesel, you run the risk of destroying the engine and crashing in a giant fireball.. but... it could work. but its unlikely it would work long enough to get you airborne before you melt the engine.
