And don't forget Dolores had two solo albums that were just as good as The Cranberries ones to get into. "The Journey" comes to mind. Mindblowing that she wrote this song within two days of meeting the band, including the backing vocal melodies, and was only 17 at the time.

Cranberries guitarist Noel Hogan wrote the music for this song before Dolores O'Riordan joined the band. Originally, it had lyrics written by the group's first singer, a bloke named Niall Quinn. When O'Riordan auditioned for the band, she had some ideas for the song, and after she was hired, she wrote her own set of lyrics, turning it into a song of regret based on a soldier she once fell in love with.

WooooooooW, I'd forgotten how beautiful her voice is on this track ❤Just carries you away 💔🥺 If you haven't heard 'Dreams' by The Cranberries, that should be your next track by them. Its one of their biggest hits (alongside the two you've already reacted to) and her voice is just beautiful on it (as on all of them) but on 'Dreams' carries you away 👌💜😊

Some people burn too brightly and die too young. Delores was one of those people, loved the world over for her beautiful soul and pristine voice. Zombie is among the all-time classic rock songs, because Delores realised that her fragile voice couldn't compete with all the American grunge that dominated the airwaves at the time. Thus Zombie was born, in which she used Irish folk singing techniques to straddle a distorted grunge guitar sound. And we heard you Delores. Oh my God we heard you. RIP.

Guys, Please react to “Dreams”, no one has, and imo its one of their greatest.
I’m glad I stumbled onto your video reviewing “Zombie”. It led me here & I subscribed. I already see “November Rain” underneath, so I’m really excited to see your reactions to these videos. I grew up listening to everything from 2 Live Crew & NWA to Duran Duran & Iron Maiden (sister & cousin to thank- my classmates like NKOTB 🤮). Anyhow, I try to get my son to react too, but he doesn’t like being on camera. Thank you for letting me relive my teen years. You’re both so beautiful people!!!

This woman means more to my ancestral nation than anyone in my birth nation will ever mean to anyone in this place. I've watched, as a bartender in the US, the HARDEST OF THE HARD Irishman pour tears to hear this song... And thats not even talking about what happens to my lost cousins when they hear Zombie. There is ALOT of hurt that needs to be healed in that nation... and NO ONE cares after the bombs stopped. Its as sad as any American story. The story of a used people that bought into the dream, put their souls behind it, and still found nothing but war that no one would let them escape from... over religion and the right to just be. Its a more common American story than they let any of us understand.
