I was also one of Doms students for over 15 yrs. but he was so much more! We became very close friends and I spoke with him almost weekly. I loved him with all my heart and was just at his birthday party in August! I spoke with him just 4 days ago. It was heartbreaking as he knew what was coming. He told me to be kind to people and keep his spirit alive by teaching and being a figure in the drumming community! I will never forget our last conversation. I will miss him and cherish every call every moment with him every drum event we attended and every story he told me!! Rip my dear friend! Thanks for doing this video it means a lot and I can tell it’s from the heart ❤️ ❤😢

Such a great man on all levels. Some years ago I had the golden opportunity of a pretty much one to one masterclass with Dom on hi hat fanning, only it wasn't on an actual hi hat... It was using 2 rolled up drumfest program brochures whilst waiting in the queue to get in! He engaged with everyone in that queue and he was the host for that event. I'll never forget that!! RIP Dom!!

RIP Dom. Condolences to his family, friends and the entire drum community. I was lucky enough to see a live clinic by Dom here in Australia. At the beginning Dom invited anyone there 12yrs old or younger to come and watch from the front of the stage. A great gesture that epitomized Dom's brilliant personality. One of the greats.

@guillearacenag Жыл бұрын
