The info you shared maybe true for some but there are always exceptions. I dont think you should generalise it. I am a rahu nakshatra native with 11th house Rahu. But i am a devout person and i live on humble salary. I am a academic as well as teacher at a temple. And i also know Rahu is Maya. So if you say the natives don't realise it is maya, then it is wrong. Rahu dasha has changed many people's lives for good.

Rahu is the planet of illusion.When you start Rahu dasa Person will have changes in multiple areas and it depends upon the placement of Rahu in the birth chart.Rahu depositor must be placed well in the chart to give good results. Generally Rahu does well in Upachaya houses of 3,6,10,11 without much malefic aspect. When Rahu has benefic aspect eg..Jupiter aspect controls Rahu to a minimise the negative effects.
