2:23:15 Stage 1 labour Longest bit. Womb gets ready for the pushing bit. Contractions only coming very regularly Stage 2 labour Starts when you start to push and ends once baby is born. Anything over an hour is considered to be a long time. I was 2 hours for my first, 30 mins for my second and 15 mins for my third Stage 3 labour starts when baby is born and ends once the placenta is delivered Not sure how long this is as I (and so are most women) was given an injection to speed this up as the baby was being delivered. So (I think) it then takes 20 - 30 mins for stage 3 There is no way she was in stage 2 and 3 of labour for 29 hours. She would have been given a Caesarean section! And no way she was in early stage labour for the beginning of the month. That’s not how that works! She was having practice contractions maybe, but not in early labour

Haven’t spent an awful lot of time on Reddit, maybe an hour a week, even less time on the malicious compliance part. And yet the very first story is one I’ve actually read! 😂

That story about the meat slicer reminds me of a time I was installing a new Email System (Exchange 5.5 if anyone is interested) and was told by my IT Director to do it in a particular way. I pointed out that if I did it that way it would start having problems in about 7 days. She insisted I do it her way so I got her to put it in an email... she did, thankfully. 7 days later the email started failing exactly as I predicted. I was called into a disiplinary meeting for screwwing up the new system. I was abke to point to the documention, the many and various support forums saying how to actually do it and, explicitly, not to do it the way she wanted and her email instructing me to do it her way. I didn't get fired that day :) but HR gave her a chewing out.

great job on compiling such an interesting selection of clips! it really shows the creativity in malicious compliance. however, i can't help but wonder if sometimes the situations could have been solved with better communication instead of compliance. what do you all think?

I also have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and am plus sized. People have told me that if I'd just lift weights and a bunch of other high impact exercises it'd go away, not realizing or caring that if I did I'd pop my arms and other stuff out of the joints and that EDS is genetic and not something that can be exercised away. People will say some really awful things about us and we shouldn't have to prove our illnesses.
10 ай бұрын
Problem is you do have to prove it in this day and age because bad actors who are just fools with no self control and a desire to blame their weight on anything but themselves claim to have medical issues all the time. Hell where I live a lot of Doctors wont bother looking into anything else if a patient is fat and cannot lose weight because they know most are the type who eat 3 KFC family buckets to0 themselves and just want to have some kind of "disability" to get on welfare and not have to look for work, so that way their path of self destruction can kick into mach 9. Like any group, the AH's in them give a bad name to all.

The pizza could have been done. The standard level of items could have been cooked and all the extras could have been cooked on a separate pan then added to the pizza. I don't blame OP for MC to those customers, but as a cook I hate to see good food mistreated.

The reason companies use contractors is cost. The company pays higher wages for the contractor but saves on benefits, especially in union shops or in non-union shops that match union shops pay and benefits. This is based on what I've seen in the forest products industry and in the sawfiling trade.

Thank you for blessing my sanity with this insanely long complication video!!! I feel spoiled as I’m currently getting ready for a complete house deep clean and “musical room game” with our birds and their cages while we upgrade and replace windows and security doors. (There’s a LOT of brick work involved.) This video will literally help me get through a chaotic week and I can’t thank you enough for the excellent timing!!! I wish nothing but the best for you and your loved ones!

the paternity and maternity laws or lack there of in the US still baffles me, here where I live, the mom and dad gets 48 weeks in all, split down the middle, where 26 of those weeks can be distributed between the parents and 4 additional weeks to the mom before birth, all of which are paid.

really enjoyed this compilation, thanks for sharing! but honestly, i can't help but think that some of the compliance stories seem a bit over-the-top. like, do people really go to such lengths instead of just having a conversation? it feels like there could be simpler solutions that don’t involve so much drama. what do you all think?

I spent the last couple days playing this at work, might have some details wrong by now. The nurses story of the pharmacist: If you're Salaried *Exempt* your week is the company's time. You ideally want the 40 ish hours but you're supposed to be negotiating on call kinds of pay separately. Exempt is a CYA from the government term. You do not get OT. If they had just done their job during the normal hours they'd have never made their boss realize they needed to work more hours. Sucks to suck. The dude saying he was drafted in the 80s?? The draft was suspended in the 70s for Americans. There was the story of the security guard as well. It's swell that your jobs were smart enough to require a sign in. Theirs didn't, the guard made it tf up. They needed a tag or something instead which he decided actually didn't apply. The only problem he had was not going over the guy's head and reporting him making up rules. If he makes up new rules and ignores old ones for someone who can call him imagine what he's doing to people who can't.

The guy with the inspection. Slamming keys on the counter doesn't really sound like he was being nasty. If he was actually nasty you should describe it better, or it turns in to YOU being the Karen. It sounds like OP was power tripping to me. Now the car's computer. Why are you assuming he changed the battery to get rid of codes. He very well might have just done some work on his vehicle and forget to drive 50 miles that it takes to actually assess the vehicle. I know it's actually pretty common to do these things. He might not have even known that he needed to drive 50 miles before the inspection.

@karmacommentchameleon - you're occasionally confused/misinformed during f/u comments. Notably the following: (2 atm - Edits for necessary further clarity are poss...lol) 1. Re: contractual employment status/tax implications, a number of US states utilize contractual employment (depending on the role), regardless if the employer states when, where, how, etc the employee is to perform their duties/schedule. They are still simply a W-2 employee. CA is one, for example. Additionally, there's no clear indication this story was US based and it's VERY common in Europe as well. Just fyi. (Sorry no time stamp - wasn't planning to comment initially & not rev'ing 4+ hrs to locate...lol! 😊) 2. @ 4:18:32 He DOES, in fact, say HE paid all capital gains tax on the funds... both the $1.35M & the $1.8M. I think you might need to read it a 3rd time...lol!!! (Just teasing 😂)

I am almost sure the KCC avatar was AI-generated. Every time I see it I keep staring at the extra claw on the foot at the right of the image. Then the hand just in front of the tail is so mangled. I love the avatar but those two defects. Yikes. I don't know how those don't drive KCC nuts. It's all I can look at every time I see the avatar.
