I feel like the apple stuff has to be cleared: apples naturally produce wax as a way to defend themselves. Farmers may add some of the same kind of wax to make them more shiny and make them last longer, but it is in no way toxic in the amount used. So you can take the wax off if you want but it serves little purpose.

The naturally occurring wax is a shield that protects the sweet fruit from parasites and other infestants. My dad had a really bad mold problem in his bathroom but he was still paying rent. It got so bad that my brother had to move in with my mom. Dad was upset that the landlord wasn't doing anything about it and my mom said "just stop paying rent. He knows about it and he's legally obligated to do something about it." But he thought that he was going to be kicked out if he did. It wasn't until it started effecting me and I was about to move in with my mom and sleep in her living room that he finally decided to take her advice and they were pretty quick to fix the problem once the landlord stopped getting paid.

Speaking of public transport, I relied on it to get to my college classes, riding the public trolley (Ollie the Trolley if anyone knows about Scottsdale, Arizona's transport system) and I actually met the guy who was in charge of the system at a DECA meeting at one point. Not two months later the entire trolley system changed. The stop near my house was deactivated entirely, and now if I wanted to get to class, I had to get a Valley Metro bus pass, to ride the Valley Metro bus four stops, to the nearest stop that overlapped with the Trolley's, that would get me to the Trolley that would take me to school after about an hour and a half long trip. I just started taking Lyft's to school every day. Not so much Mildly Infuriating more like ENTIRELY ENRAGING.
