It doesn't surprise me. @overlydramaticpanda5 жыл бұрын
@@infiltr80r Rejection is a natural part of the dating game and literally everyone knows that to the point that a small child could tell you that. Hell, rejection is a natural part of *life* in general. Sure, it sucks, but as human beings we should all be more than capable of sucking it up and moving on with a shrug and a simple "fair enough" and having a certain degree of introspection as to why the rejection might have occurred. This sort of response is frankly horrifying to experience because it often comes out of absolutely nowhere, especially when a perfectly valid reason is given for the rejection ("I'm already going out with someone"/"I'm not interested in dating anyone right now"/"I want to concentrate on work/education"/etc.) - and the fact that a reason needs to be given at all and it's no longer enough to simply say "I don't want to hook up with you" and for that to be accepted is sort of upsetting in and of itself. Not to mention the amount of detail often indicates that the Nice Guy/Girl has actually thought about this to a degree that doesn't so much match "spur of the moment lashing out" as "seems genuinely capable and/or willing to actually carry these threats out". It doesn't matter that Nice Guys/Girls aren't the majority, and to be brutally honest it doesn't even matter whether these particular Nice Guys have been rejected multiple times in the past - what matters is that this is *never* an appropriate response to rejection (no matter how many times rejection has occurred in the past) and no one should feel like they owe someone a date and/or sex just because "oh god they may have been rejected so many times before that one more rejection might cause them to flip out if I say no", and what matters most of all is that this "sexual reward for being nice (or just doing something any decent human being should do anyway without thinking about it)" even exists at all as a mindset. People shouldn't ever be made to feel like they can't say no (in any situation), and that's exactly how Nice Guys/Girls want their prey to feel.

@@overlydramaticpanda I don't care what is appropriate or not. I'm trying to find out why and how they are the way they are. Neither do I care how the girls feel. If they are so fragile that they cannot handle an irrational incel, how do they survive day-to-day?

I just realized another flaw in the delusions of the average nice guy. He thinks he can get a girlfriend just by *asking* a girl to be his girlfriend, even if she's already in a relationship, right? Well hypothetically, let's say she *was* that easy...why would you want a girlfriend who's so easy to sway that you could do so just by asking politely? That opens up the door to so much infidelity that, by his own logic, should be a-ok because it's how he did it in the first place, and you just *know* he's going to be upset about it regardless. The more I try to understand them, the more questions I end up with.

They are narcissistic, and tend to generalize women as a whole. Nice guys abhor women they cannot control. And that requires emotional intelligence, something they try to fake. It also requires them to get off that damn throne of theirs. Oh, they usually are needy and try to subconsciously train a girl to feel responsible for their(nice guy) feelings...And they never shut up about how nice they are, and only surround themselves with people who think they are nice. I'm a nerd, I get into things and chat animatedly about them and make snarky references and laugh at (funny) jokes. Heck, I'll even play a video game with you! That doesn't mean I'm into you sexually, though. It just means I enjoyed spending time with a fellow nerd. Funny thing is, in most cases the guy didn't even know what I looked like...just "IT AM GIRL? IT AM GIRL! GIRL TOUCH PEEPEE?!!" Some major tips for guys looking to date someone (as compiled from these videos): 1. Not every interaction with another human being is 'flirting' or 'leading on'. You wouldn't think of your boss handing you a file as flirting. 2. Nobody owes you a relationship. Gestures of kindness do not guarantee or even insinuate a romantic commitment. 3. Most of the pickup lines you think are 'clever' or 'sexy' will not be viewed as such universally. These bad lines may include (but are not limited to) words such as: -sleeping -knight/maiden -watch(ing) -females -cherish -nudes -dream(s) -Alpha/Beta -specimen 4. 'Already dating/taken' is an automatic 'no', and you cannot change it. Also, do not try to change a 'no'; just move on if you don't have a chance with someone. 5. Continuing to try the same person more than once is just... sad. It's pitiful and makes you look desperate. 6. Once you have verbally assaulted an individual, your chances of entering into an intimate relationship with them within the next few months is 0%. So refrain from calling desirable mates 'cunt' or 'bitch' or 'whore', and avoid death threats or suggesting suicide if you truly still desire their companionship. 7. Self-pity adds to the creepiness and does not help your case. If you have to resort to trickery, narcissism, and guilt-tripping, you're unlikely to hold many relationships, let alone begin them. 8. Proper spelling is not always key, but it does help. A few grammatical and spelling errors is acceptable and normal, but too many makes you seem young/uneducated- thus, less desirable. BONUS TIP: You can absolutely live your life WITHOUT having a mate every waking moment. There's no time limit on finding a suitable partner. Not every attractive person you meet is going to be worth it. Take your time, view your options, and keep an eye out for ACTUAL flirting. Flirting may sound like: -"Hey, maybe we should hang out some more. Just the two of us...?" -"If you don't have plans this weekend, maybe we could do something together." -"I know you like [franchise] and they just released a new movie. Wanna go see it?" This has been a 'beginning a relationship' PSA, published by some random chick who watched all ten r/niceguys Top Posts of All Time videos.

The thing about nice guys/girls is... I kinda understand their thoughts. I recently found out my best guy friend, who I'm crushing on, likes some freshman girl at his school (we're juniors in high school, went to elementary/middle school together) and she likes him. I've thought "she probably only likes him for the status of dating an upperclassman, it'll never work out and I hope it doesn't, I've known him so much longer" etc, other nice girl thoughts, but then I've realized: Wait, I sound like all the people on these videos. And yeah, rejection hurts. It's not fun and I get why these people think and act this way. But you know what? If I said any of that to him, it would A) Make me a rotten human being, B) Decrease any chances we might have of getting together in the future, and C) Would be extremely immature on my part and embarrassing for the both of us. I love him, yes, but he's also my friend. All these people need to grow up and realize that just cause you know someone well doesn't guarantee anything, and you need to learn to value people of the opposite gender as friends, not just objects of sexual/romantic desire. Also, don't expect girls who don't have any idea who you are to date/hook up with you just cause you complimented them. Just... don't.

Well, it depends on context. When you say ”male” or ”female” your’e basically using science words to describe an OBJECT of interest. When your using people words, like Man, Woman, Non-binary etc. your describing someone as a person. If someone said ”you are an beautiful male” i would be upset by being robbed the personhood that ”you are an beautiful man” implicitly gives me. I think I’m a person and I’d like to think that others agree.
@jakeystarsuper6 жыл бұрын
@@An_Amazing_Login5036 male and female associate with people as well and there is no non binary just men and women.
@An_Amazing_Login50366 жыл бұрын
JakeyStar 2019 yes, male and female associate with people, but in a very unfun way. It’s the association of statistics of birth, death, disease, causaulties of war, causaulties of natural disaster, poverty, hunger, crime etc. That male and female are (for some strange reason) preferentially used by oppressors, conquerors, abusive people, bigots, people with little concept of other peoples personhood, ”Nice guys” and ”Nice girls” does not help my perception of those words. Look, I’m not going to deal with either misinformation or transphobia right now. Thank you for understanding that via the sentiment that non-binary people somehow do not exist you are denying people an integral part of their identity and that is rather mean of you.

Coming from a guy who, although never this severe [edit for clarity: I never threatened someone, harassed someone, or used that extreme of language, but I had the same absolutely broken mindset] struggled with the same mindset all through high school: These guys honestly think so lowly of themselves that they think anyone who’s remotely kind, think they’re so ugly that anyone who even smiles at them, and are so anti-social that anyone even attempting to include them, seems to be someone irrationally interested in them. “Someone liked my pic AND followed me? SHE MUST BE IN LOVE!” (Actual example from one of these videos). To be clear, I am not saying, “oh no they’re not bad, just misunderstood!” I’m saying they’re literally so wrapped up in delusion that they honestly believe the BS they’re spewing. The way I got out of my stupid world was a combination of taking an EQ test that revealed just how out of touch with people I was, getting told I made a girl uncomfortable by someone I trusted, and finding these videos which showed just where my false mindsets eventually would lead me if I didn’t change. It took a *long time* , and I still occasionally catch myself catching feels wayyyy too quickly, or getting upset about something super insignificant, but now that I *know* it’s a problem I’ve come leaps and bounds towards being a, ya know, normal functioning adult. I guess what I’m trying to say is this: If you’re a “Nice Guy”, you need to reality check yourself, and remember it’s not too late to change. If you know a Nice Guy, check your relationship- you just might be the person who can pull them back from the edge (although I’d only recommend guys do it- a girl trying would probably only make the guy think you’re in love). If you are being harassed by a Nice Guy, know it’s entirely *NOT* your fault in any way. They’re wrong, they’re broken, and they’re the ones with faulty thinking.
@stoicwolf73766 жыл бұрын
A major issue is girls feel the need to be kind even towards really awkward situations. I personally am nice to everyone, and sometimes I interact with someone who doesn’t get treated nicely normally. So they think it’s flirting and we’re leading them on, then they get mad when you are honest and say it was just a friendship. If a girl is mean from the beginning, she’s a bitch. If she turns a guy down when she just wants to be friends, she’s a bitch. If she is dating someone else, she’s a slut. There’s no winning with these self and women hating guys.

If you get rejected, do not fly off the handle and call a woman, or anyone in general, durogatory terms. Instead, make it clear that you respect their decision and calmly move on. If you get angry that they don't respond right away, take into consideration that they are A) busy, B) in a different time zone and are asleep, or C) choosing to not be on social media at all. Give them time to be able to respond. Getting angry could make them uncomfortable and as a result not respond at all.

As I've found though that doesn't always help, as society seems to depend on defining people on a few traits at first glance.
