​@@joeligma4721it's not because you're part of a group that you're totally tolerant of it. Most of the time it's because you're taught things against it and/or internalized bad thoughts about it. It can also lead to hating yourself having that characteristic and therefore hating others who has it too. If you're taught that women are inferior to men or are worse than them as a whole, it's a radical example but it's to explain, then you can end up believing it. You can also hate yourself for being a women, reject anything that's linked to it and hate other women too. Another example would be gay people. Some of them have internalized homophobia, often because of the environment they grew up in, and end up repressing it or hating on other gay people because they were told it was bad.

I had an interesting version of the “not like other girls” thing where I genuinely thought I wasn’t a girl I think this was mainly because I’m a lesbian and a lot of girl-hood in media is based around liking men. I felt I couldn’t relate to these “other girls” because they were defined by the patriarchy Also cause society views any sort of queerness as outside of the gender binary. Even my fellow queers have told me they thought I was nonbinary because I dress openly queer. So I explored my gender identity and I’m glad I did because now I am more confident in my gender than ever. I am a women with short colorful hair who dresses like it’s Halloween all year round and who likes women. And yeah, I’m EXACTLY like other girls

The ENTIRE problem that the sub is supposed to be pointing out is women shitting on what they see as "other girls," it's not just meant for making fun of unique or unusual people. What's even more frustrating is that most of the "not like other girls" types began acting that way in response to being made fun of for their quirks, feeling like they had to justify themselves with, "I'm not a loser, everyone must hate me because I'm just too cool for them" to make themselves feel better.
