If child care is extremely underfunded and there are no kindergarten spots one parent has to stay at home. And considering women get on average paid less, women give up their career more often than men. Then there's medical sexism where women who WANT to be childless forever are denied the necessary procedures cause "maybe they change their mind". This way there is a constant threat of pregnancy for those women,which is then used against them when they are being denied raises cause "maybe next year she gets pregnant and becomes a stay at home mum, cause there is no affordable childcare" Just because women can get credit cards without a man's approval, doesn't mean the fight is already over. Especially since all the problems i listed affect us men, too.
