I didn't deny it - instead I said it was true (I wasn't dating anyone at the time), sort of. I said that when we went to 'do the deed', his genitals smelt really horrible and that he smelt like unwashed ass and that i walked outta there. And that his arousal/foreplay skills were ass too. 'Oh yeah, we fooled around and he was terrible and also smelt terrible' got the job done for whoever asked. You want details? I'll give you 'details'.

Regardless of that, we'd still need bandages and first responders (police & possibly ambulance) because the perps wouldn't be able to walk away without a bloody nose, missing tooth, or aching gut... or possibly all three.

Noone should ever touch a persons belly, pregnant or not. I had something similar happen to me when I was at my bofriend's family reunion. I knew noone there, except for my boyfriend, his parents and grandparents. After a pretty large dinner, we were chatting with some old couple (an aunt and uncle of my mother in law) and out of nowhere she places a hand on my belly, asking when I'm due. Mind you, I wasn't even pregnant. What I was though, was highly insecure about my body to begin with and I had finally found a dress I felt somewhat comfortable in. After that I didn't wear that dress again for a long time. I often think about, wishing I had said something snappy. This substitute teacher got right up in her face telling her to talk (she was interrupting anyone who tried to explain what was going on.) So the friend, at the top of her lungs, just made the loudest noise she could, right in the sub's face. And since the friend couldn't exactly control the muscles in her face, she just spewed saliva all over the sub. The sub was so shocked at this, that I took the opportunity to speak up, "If you'd have shut the f*** up, you would've known that she was mute. Now, are you gonna go tidy yourself up, or..?"

I know the friends didn't actually shave their heads in the cancer story, but it reminds me of a different story I read. A girl was going through chemo and really REALLY sad that she was gonna lose her hair because she loved doing fun things with her hair. So her parents and a few friends secretly hatched a plan to help. They found several friends and family members who were willing to shave their heads with her, and even found a salon that would do a private session to reduce her chance of exposure to sick people. Including a stylist for every chair (the salon even comped the cost). When the day came to shave her head she walked into a salon with a friend or family member sitting in every single chair.

Yup. Last year, my city’s election had a ballot measure about changing leadership in our public library. We had (have) a bunch of people wanting to get books removed for containing “sexually explicit material”, and they were wanting to change leadership to be able to try and do that. Thankfully, it didn’t pass (the difference was only like 15-18 votes or something). If it had passed though, I was prepared to go to the library with a whole list of books that “needed” to be removed for the same excuse they were trying to pull off. If they wanted to get booked banned…we’d definitely get books banned. See how fast they start complaining about some of their favorite books being gone.

My dad some days can't do up his shirt due to the tingling and numb fingers he has and he's gets so frustrated. Also, you are not allowed to touch or eat very cold or hot things. So dad had to wear gloves to get milk out of the fridge for a luke warm coffee. Alongside horrific toileting issues, fatigue, nausea and all the usual issues that come along with chemo, there are *many* more they don't tell you about unless you're actually going to be on chemo. I know that this sounds extremely dismissive, when doctors do that, and I absolutly think it can be communicated/handled better. BUT the reality of the matter is, that due to the cultural shaming of smexual active women and pregnant people, that did not want to be pregnant it happens frequently, that people, lie about their smex life. While men are more likely to pretend to have had smex on a regular and not have noticed anything out of the ordinary, when in fact they might have had pain during smex, no libido or erectile dysfunction etc. Women are more likely to claim they had no smex at all, and especially hide cases of SA. Because of that a doctor, that observes symptomes that COULD be caused by pregnancy OR where treatment could endanger a pregnancy (harm the fetus), HAVE to test no matter what the client says. In addition it is possible, to have a so called "stone baby", which is a condition, where an embryo or fetus dies in the womb, but does not abort and then calcifies, which can go unreckognised for years. In addition elevated pregnancy hormones are also an indicator for certain forms of cancer and other deseases. Why they have to be tested for, when symptomes are as unspecific as "stomache ache", especcially since it is a relatively cheap, fast and easy test.

Or, if you have the courage for it, start flirting with them. Bonus points if you make it super gay too.

I’m saddened by OP in the first story losing their girlfriend due to rumours, you would think the gf would listen to their partner over rumours spread by a petty reject.

My little brother was egged on by his friends to grope a woman - they were 12. The woman didn't press charges, but his mum still arranged to have him spend time in a holding cell with the police station as a punishment. He never, ever did it again.

31:30 i would have just doubled down on her when she said she could have been told in privat. "How can You NOT know that your Brother-in-law, and Son of the Person You are Visiting Right NOW died shorty ago!?"

Lady from the "prank" story is my mom's age. She handled it so perfectly, I would probably be chasing these kids with tulip bottle through the shop if they've done it to my mom and then end up arrested. I'm tiny, but during fight or flight powered by the pure rage 😅

I have had a few minor traumatized them back moments. On was a point a kid kept making fun of my "unibrow," and I turned and said, 'Why do you keep meeting it? Are you jealous I have more facial hair than you?'. He never mentioned it again. Felt good.

As a cashier at various places over most of my working life I have been hollered at numerous times for things I have no control over. From store policy to being short staffed to prices. Its like do you people not understand I have no control over any of that stuff. I just work here. Yes it is policy that I check your ID if you want liquor or tobacco. Im not gonna be the one that gets the store or myself in trouble. Im sorry we are short staffed the MANAGMENT has cut hours. Yes that cauliflower is overpriced. You should talk to our produce MANAGER. And besides that YOU came to the most expensive grocery store in a 20 mile radius what should I do about it?

One day in the future, our descendants will be in school, in their 'Global History' class reading "What Events Led To The Decline Of (semi) Civil Society?" and I predict the title of chapter one will be "The Invention Of The Internet And The Early 21st Century"
