The video covers the village Bishrakh (Bisrakh) which is the birth place of Ravan, Kumbhakarna, Vibheeshana and Shoorpanakha. And also the birth place of his elder brother Kubera, the guardian of heavenly wealth. The name Bisrakh came from the name of Ravana's father Vishrava (Visrava). Sage Visrava was the son of Pulasthya who is the son of Lord Brahma. Visrava married Ilavida and got a son, Kubera. Later married another Rakshasa woman, Kaikasi and became father of Ravan, Kumbhakarna, Vibheeshana and Shoorpanakha. The Shivling here was worshipped by Pulasthya, Visrava, Kubera and Ravana. Ravana offered his heads to this Shivlinga. The villagers consider Ravana as their forefather and do not celebrate Dussera.
