Thanks very much, I was wondering how to remove the protective front glass so I could clean behind it, Thanks Malcolm.

At about minute 3 you see I remove small phillip screws in each corner. Then the glass and rubber bellows comes out and the the glass is easily removed if needed.

no issues with the heat sink so close to the other wiring components?

Hello Max, I have been into the headlight housing several times and have not noticed any issues. I had an electrical fire awhile back but it was related to the left ignition coil and the fact that the ignition or other subsystes are fused normally.

Hi greetings from Scotland.Please tell me who the manufacturer of your indicators is,they look great thank you,
@edwardj4564 жыл бұрын
Hi Richard, what indicators are you speaking about? The two about 2-3inch black lights mounted in the air inlets are an LED fog light and an LED Spot light. They are just some CCC from Amazon, Westin is the company name. They are OK but they are not road approved so I'm very very careful when I use them.

@@edwardj456 Thank you sorr,y I assumed they were indicators and you had not got around to blanking off the original fitted ones in the fairing,So are they too bright or fitted at the wrong height?
@edwardj4564 жыл бұрын
@@richardallan455 They work fine. I have each on a separate switch. At night on two lanes with no traffic I use both to help illuminate the road edges for wildlife. In day I run the fog just to make me more visible. But the headlight was the best bang for the buck!

Hi Edward. So after a year on the bike, do you have any additional comments?
@edwardjones81705 жыл бұрын
Hello Bill, over all I've been very pleased with the LED headlight. I've done about 20hrs of nighttime riding with this LED over about 2k miles and it's still working fine. It's got a nice cutoff so it's not blinding oncoming traffic. Also I love the white light so much more then that Halogen yellow :) I've actually put the same LED in my recently acquired 1987 GL1200A, check bitchute for that install. All have been sourced from SuperBrightLED.

Good mornig, first of all, excuse my english i don't use often. Can you tell me some détails about the the LED light. Did you buy it on the internet, the price and the " reférence" of this product ? I suppose you see better than with the h4 light, is it a great difference ? Thanks for your answer.

Good morning Marius, I purchased this light from SuperBrightLED an internet retailer, it's item name is "H4-HLV5-M: Natural White" and cost a bit less then $50US including shipping. It's really a wonderful upgrade, it's a big difference, in my case the low beam LED seems as bright as the H-4 high beam and I love the White light it produces vs the yellow of H4. It is so impressive that I also bought two low beam LED lights for my 2008 Toyota Matrix which also uses a basic H-4 i.e. NO CAN Bus or any other data bus I know about.

@@edwardjones8170 Thank you Edward for this answer vers précise. I'll buy a LED light for my r100rt of 1982, the same as yours. It seems very easy to install.... Thank you once more. Have a nice day.
