T28 will max out too early in rev range, go xr6 turbo or 3076 ebay or 3082. Good videos I'm building mine at the moment it's good watching how your doing it. Also the skid factory VL build will show you that spacer too

Zach Curran yeh my old setup was 3076 i want to go smaller to avoid breaking gearboxes. If i were to go t28 i would be putting a 71mm comp wheel on, I will max my injectors out before a T28 is a problem. Ill have a look at some there vids!

If you’re crafty with the welder you could try to weld a spacer onto the manifold

You could cut one of those flanges off of your wastegate adaptor and linish it flat. Look 10or so mm would allow the comp cover to clear the manifold

Michael D I may end up doing this. Im just paranoid about the surfaces being flat and not leaking and blowing out gaskets!

Leprechaun Laboratory yeah fair enough. To be honest I stopped the vid and commented then I watched the rest of the vid and heard your concern about gaskets and leaking 🤦🏻‍♂️. A spacer is very common man I think it would be fine. T28 should be responsive AF anyways 🤘🏻

can run bigger turbos on the low mount manifold but need a spacer . i had a gt35 on my low mount setup with a 10mm spacer worked great with external gate on the rear housing. i was using a 4 bolt dump rear housing as you mentioned . love the content mate keep it coming!

I had a steel wheel rb25 sized turbo on a 30 with an internal gate and I had no control on boost pressure with the little flap. Went external and no issues at all

Just go to your local steel supply and get them to make you a spacer cost you less than $20

Hi, Great content! Enjoying the vids. I'm running an AVO low mount manifold, 10mm spacer, with a Hypergear Turbo(internal gate), you should look em up if you're looking for options, I've found them to be very reliable.

red gate spring is 5psi I'm pre sure. look on the kinguwana website on eBay.. and for another spacer comment. 10mm spacer. longer bolts. weld the spacer too the manifold. done.. my thoughts, gtx 3076 internal gate.
