Documenting adding a turbo to an NA RB25DE that is in my R32 Skyline GTS25. I am using mostly OEM RB parts for this build and am not going for huge power, just a mild reliable setup.

Looks good.great video! Should the install be the same for a rb20de? Also what ecu are you using?
@DIYAUTOCAR2 жыл бұрын
Yes, the install should basically be the same on the rb20de. I am running an enthalpy ROM fine which has been working fine so far. If you are doing the same on an rb20de then from what I have read, you can just use an rb20det ECU as long as you switch over to rb20det injectors.

Hey man seems like you used the factory DE injectors is that the case or did you swap them too?
@DIYAUTOCAR7 ай бұрын
I used the same stock injectors since they are the same size as the rb20det. Keep in mind, this is for my R32 RB25 which may be different if you have one from another chassis.

Hey can you tell me what exact turbo your using. I’m turboing my r33 and I’m kinda stuck
@DIYAUTOCAR Жыл бұрын
I'm running an OEM rb20det turbo marked as 16v1. Which engine do you have in your r33?

@@DIYAUTOCAR I have a rb25de I bought a oem but it’s water cooled and that’s a pain so I was wondering if u bought a different one cause it looks like you only have a oil feed and an oil return line
@DIYAUTOCAR Жыл бұрын
@@carrotyparrot60 it has both but I only hooked up the oil feed. From what I read, it is common for people to do that with +t setups. I haven't seen any issues from it yet.
